Mack's Covert Ops Soft Foam Shooting Earplugs
According to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, it is recommended that all workers’ exposure to noise should be controlled below a level equivalent to 85 dBA for eight hours to minimize occupational noise induced hearing loss. My boyfriend suffers mild hearing loss and is a musician and Mack’s is the gold standard of earplugs. Because of the decibal coverage we chose these.He likes them a lot, I’ve worn them and also like them. Comfortable, don’t feel cheap and the price is good.

I own a very loud nightclub and use these nightly to save my hearing. I can still hear conversations but all the loud music is muted, i purchased them several times for not only myself but my staff as well.

I really want to like these earplugs. unfortunately, they're just too small. a regular foam earplug is maybe a third longer.. when I can roll them up and manage to get it into my ear canal properly, they work amazing. unfortunately, it takes 6-8 tries to get them to reach the ear canal.. a foam earplug must get past the outer ear and into the ear canal to work properly. I have regular man size hands and pinching the end to hold it barely leaves enough material to insert in the ear canal. most times it curls as I try to get it in and results in not blocking out sound.when I can get it into the ear canal, they're excellent, but the frustration and repeated attempts make me not want to buy them again.tl:dr these are too short /small to insert correctly in the ear canal.
