I love these earplugs: they compress fully for insertion, they stay in, and they are effective at blocking noise. I do not use them for shooting, despite their "earammo" name, but they are great for sleeping.

These earplugs are very effective in blocking both constant noise (machinery, snoring) and sporadic noise spikes (gunfire). Working as a range safety officer, I use these along with the earmuff style ear protection for double protection. Highly recommended.
