This product is amazing! Our sump pump is directly below our living room. Our previous sump pump was moderately noisy and we just hoped we never had company when it was operating. We got a new sump pump and it was so super noisy with a huge clunk that you could feel in the floor. This is our first experience with a sump pump so we thought it was the price you had to pay to keep the water out of our basement. Then our son happened to be in his customer’s basement and saw this product and asked about it. That person raved about how quiet his pump now worked. When hearing this story I did some YouTube video searches, then went to Amazon and bought it. Extremely happy with it. Now it’s like we don’t even have a pump!

This check valve is virtually silent. It’s a wonderful product that will solve the the loud water hammer of a standard check valve.

I read through a couple of other makes but was bent on buying this because of the review. I couldn’t get the exact make except Amazon, so I ordered and as soon as it was delivered, I put it up and it took less than 15 minutes to replace the old one making loud noise (water Hammer) when it stops. The time you will spend depends on the location and the existing nature of the old old you are replacing.This one has no noise when it stops and you have to pay attention to notice it’s working. I love and appreciate the reviewers that helps us make right decisions when purchasing.I will recommend it to you if you need to replace your own especial when the sound can be heard from the second floor. This is really quiet and a great product.

I bought this due to a loud water hammer noise on my existing check valve assembly for my sump pump. Locally at all hardware stores they only had 1.25" and 1.5" check valve assemblies for sump pumps, I have a large basement (ranch style home) and needed a 2". Swapped it out and I can hear the sump pump run and no more banging! Keeps the baby sleeping at night.

Had a loud 'bang' every time our ejection pump shut off. Installed one of these- QUIET for the first time in years !I can hear the pump run when right beside the pit, then NOTHING as it shuts off and the valve closes. Get One.

Works great made a huge difference compared to the one I got from Home Depot no more noise from the pipes banging

After putting up with a clunking check valve I switched it out for this one. It's almost silent in operation. I should have bought this years ago!
