My son has not stopped using this since he got it, and is already doing tricks. Seems sturdy based on the fact it's hit the ground often and not broken!

2024-08-17. Diabolo by MAGICYOYO. Pro triple bearing. Small size 4". Chinese yoyo. 2 pairs of carbon sticks. Spare strings. Blue.My kids saw this at an event on the Wolverines campus in Ann Arbor last year. The Taiwanese Cultural Tent has various activities to keep kids entertained and this was one of them. In addition to putting on a small show, they allowed the kids to have a hand at them and taught them the basics of spinning it.The Chinese yoyo doesn't come in any retail packaging and is merely a net bag that stores everything. The yoyo is a plastic rubber material and is slightly malleable. To prevent permanent deformation of the yoyo, the unit comes with two white plastic pieces on either end that you put in place for storage only.I'll admit, I don't know much about Chinese yoyo's, but this one advertises as having triple bearings which I assume will be for more smooth spinning. The one notable I have is something I picked up while listening to the instructor, and that is the middle of the yoyo (the narrowest point where the strings are applied) has two color bands, a white and a black (see pics.) The white band signifies the top of the yoyo and this is the side that you want to keep pointed outwards (away from you) when in use. Not sure of the significance (maybe the yoyo is weighted?) but this information is not provided anywhere with this kit or with the instructions. The sticks are aluminum and lightweight, and two sets are provided. The pre-attached strings are white and red, and the spare strings are blue and orange. Again, not knowing much about this toy, I don't know if there is significance with the string or not. What I have found is that when practicing in bright light conditions, the white string is harder to see, so you may want to use a color string to provide some contrast.Overall, I picked this up to let my kids continue their fun with the toy. I think it will help with hand eye coordination and it's something that will keep them busy hours on end. Will they outgrow it? Most likely, but hopefully their skills will progress at a rate that will keep them interested. I've been trying to put it in their head that they should practice enough so that the next time we return to the event, they can show off their skills in public!

Had not used one for a very long time. Took me a few tries to pick it up again. Also, the kids had fun. It comes with two lightweight sticks, string, and a mesh bag.Would by it again

I collect flow toys and have been wanting one of these for years. I've played with a few before, and this one seems to be of decent quality. There's a learning curve for me since this is VERY different from other flow toys I'm used to, but it's pretty simple and straightforward.
