It's not specific to my 2007 Tahoe if you check the CARB book, but it doesn't seem like smog shops care anymore. They look similar to the factory cats. Welded on nicely. It has been 5000 miles and the check engine light hasn't come back for cat efficiency.

The ad clearly states that it is a "Universal" which is misleading. It is a vehicle specific product. Buy it, install it and it will fail inspection if it isn't in the category of vehicles it is approved for then you are stuck with the wrong converters and ZERO customer support. You own it and as this is a 3rd party seller, Amazon will not cover your expenses. The seller is under the impression, contrary to plain English and definition that somehow "Universal" doesn't mean what that word states and we need to know what it fits by the product # in their ad title. Not a good result for any buyer from this seller.

It's CA CARB approved. It works so far. Quieted down a Jeep 4.0 real well. Should keep it going another 50k miles. Better price than I found on other websites.
