I love this product! I've always had to juggle my iPhone every time I take a selfie. But this mag-safe grip elegantly solves this problem. The grip securely attaches to my mag-safe case, and can be easily rotated for portrait or landscape shots. The grip has a conveniently placed shutter button which makes it super-easy to snap photos. The shutter also starts and stops recording in video mode.Battery life is great. I've been using it off-and-on for the last week and haven't had to recharge once. The package came with a stick-on magnetic ring which can be mounted on the back of the grip. I was able to mount my mag-safe wallet to the back of the grip using this ring, and haven't had any issues with either the magnet strength or the adhesive.

I bought this intentionally for the ability to have the grip. I was looking at competitor products and thought this would be apples to apples - don't let the title fool you. This does not charge wireless - and I wasn't able to get it to wirelessly charge with Magsafe or qi charging. For the sole purpose of being able to take photos with the button - it's great. Fits in your hand well, and the magnet is super strong.

For someone that uses their camera phone as their main camera, this thing is super useful! I love it cause it not only gives you that camera feel when taking a photo, it also gives you that grip so it’s easy to hold your phone and your less likely to drop it. The magnet is strong so you don’t have to worry about your phone slipping off it. I have a magnet case on my phone and it works perfect with it. You can magnetize it directly on your phone if your phone has it such as the iPhone 12 and later or any of the new Samsung phones. If you have an older phone, it does come with the magnetic ring in the box that you can stick onto your phone. So essentially it’ll work on any phone. It also serves as a phone stand which comes in handy when watching a movie. So you kinda get a 2 for 1! 😉 I love this thing and definitely would recommend it if you’re in the market for something like this.

We were so excited, charged and connected fine twice and then it wouldn't turn on to pair. The red light would come on saying it was charging and then turn off but would never turn on to connect with the blue light. And it was on a dresser the majority of the time in between.Only charged using the included charging cable.Upset because it worked fine when we got it and I tossed the box so I can't even return the darn thing. Maybe we got a dud, but I wouldn't risk it.Btw, When it did turn on it didn't always click the pic either. It is very lightweight and feels pretty cheap but I've had other cheap camera remotes that have lasted years so that wasn't as much of a red flag.Don't buy, save up for the pricey one. You get what you pay for!!

Bought this to replace a similar item that was harder to attach/detach. Was afraid that the ring would not work with the case I had, but it worked like charm! I simply attached the steel ring to the case and put it on my wireless charger. No problem! The ring is a very thing piece of metal that the magnetic handle attaches to. It snaps on cleanly and rotates at lease, as well as detaches easily when I needed to put the phone away in my pocket. As a photographer who begins to use the phone for more immediate snapshots, this has become a valuable tool! Best grip available right now!

Magsafe holds really well. I violently shock it and couldn't wiggle it free to test the strength. Bluetooth pairing is pretty quick. The downside to this unit is the shutter delay. There is about 1/4 to 1/2 second lag button the shutter press which makes it less than ideal for capturing the decisive moment. I was using this to have a more ergnomic position as I took action shots of the small dogs playing. I would miss most of my shots due to the delay from the button press to the phone (iPhone 13 Pro) registering the bluetooth trigger to take the photo. Went back to shooting without the grip for this purpose. I'll keep this around for a stand and if I do a photo walk with the phone.
