Love this mahjong place mat. Fit our table perfectly, soft material so the tiles doesn't make too much noise. Would definitely recommend and buy again in the future.

My friends are so impressed with this Mahjong Mat. It came in a large box and actually rolls up as it’s rather on the heavy side. But it comes with a great carrying bag that has a shoulder strap. So you can arrive in style for your mah-jongg game. I really like that it has the Chinese characters for north south east and west so we always know who is going to be east and starting to play. This is a nice wipe clean fabric and a nonslip undercover rubber material, which is why I think you have to roll it up. This is the way to really play in style

This is a good mahjong mat that is water resistant, travel friendly, and is a nice bright red color. It's thick and non-slip so really great to play mahjong on. The one issue I have is that the squares are printed out, and I thought it would be 18 so you can put 18 tiles on to start, but they have only 13 tile graphic. No big deal but it would have been nice if it was for Chinese mahjong version. For the most part it's a pretty good mat.

My sister in law introduced my family to how to play Mahjong and it’s become a favorite family game. I got the Chinese tile set, and we have placeholders as well as sticks to line up tiles, but up until this we played on felt since we needed Something to play on our glass table. This mat is perfect. Correct size, has lined up rectangle at each place for tiles, even came with dice. The mat has a large carry case for storage though I can’t imaging traveling with it so for now, it sits rolled up in the corner of the living room. The mat itself is rubber with a soft cloth like cover. My fam gets aggressive when flipping the tiles and this protects the table from the thwack of tile placement. My husband loves it, and it got a nod from my friends who play so huzzah.

It was a beautiful mat and it was great to play on but the rubber smell was bad I felt like I was playing in a car garage where the sell tires I tried airing it out outside but smell never left Returned it

It looks very nice and I love how easy it is to wipe clean when someone inevitably spills something. Three dice and carrying bag come with it too. The mat rolls up and fits so you can easily take it with you to a friend's house or where you might want to play.

I've only ever played mahjong on the computer and more recently on my phone. A solitaire version that is presumably very different from how it is played with multiple players. While we don't yet have the tiles to begin learning how to play, this is a great piece to have, and I'm confident it will last until we find a good set of tiles. Very well-made, and it works as a good surface for many games.

I got this mat because we play american mahjong everywhere. Have tiles will travel. And in doing so have played on some not so nice surfaces. This mat is perfect. My tiles will not scratch. It is large enough to contain all the play. The mat is heavy enough it stays in place. It rolls up and is stored in a fabric tube-cover. There was a little color bleed that you can see if you look closely. The color bleed kept the rating to 4 stars instead of 5. The bleed does not detract from game play. Just esthetics.
