This was a gift to a fellow Mahjong player. The surface of the mat was different than other mats we have used. It's a smooth top and has a good weight (no slipping on this one!). The mat came with a drawstring carry case and some dice. Very nice.

The quality of this mat is very good. The weight of it works well. It does not move or bunch up on the table. The tiles slide over the surface. The edges are nicely finished.
