First, this is a good quality seal... I have a 2007 pathfinder that was leaking oil from the oil cool housing that the oil filter is actually screwed into. To replace the seal, remove the oil filter, use a 22mm deep socket to remove the threaded Fastener that holds the oil filter on. Be careful not the strip the 22mm, being it's shallow and the socket wants to slip off every chance it get. Once the threaded Fastener is removed the housing will drop down enough to clean the surfaces and then you are ready to install the new gasket in reverse order. Torque the 22mm to 36 ft lbs. When the oil filter is installed and oil levels correct, start the vehicle to make sure you have no leak.

Buy this! Local parts store tried to sell me a smaller one, but this is the correct size. Fit perfectly in 06 Xterra 4.0 4x4. Very easy fix with a 22 mm deep socket. Solved my oil leak of several years that I couldn't figure out where it was coming from.

There are quite a few of these with discussions back and forth on whether they fit the 4.0 V6 or the 3.5 V6. I installed this on a 2010 Nissan Xterra 4x4 with the 4.0 V6 and it worked fine.

I was in a bit of a time crunch and decided to order this single O ring instead of the 2 O ring kit, hoping it would be all I needed. Installation was surprisingly easy on my '03 QX4 and it stopped the leak....now if would only stop the other unrelated oil leaks on this truck I'd be really happy.

This fit perfectly on my 2011 Nissan Frontier SV. Hopefully, it will hold up well! Time will tell!!

Fixed oil leak on cooler Sandwiched between oil filter and engine. Remove the skid plate with 10mm bolts , then all you need is a 22mm deep socket to change , some cleaner, and new oil filter . I think this seal has an inside and outside , just pay attention when removing old one

I have installed the wrong one before this. I went to canadian tire and got them to find me the gasket. It was too small. Just so everyone knows this should fit in perfectly if for any reason you needed to try to make it fit...it's the wrong seal. This fits a 4.0 2007 xterra. I just did it and it's perfect.
