We send a lot of letters to family, friends, and neighbors as encouragement s o I was making almost daily trips to the post office. This has worked perfectly!! Wishing I had stumbled across this little unit 15 years ago when I bought my house. In Texas we have high wind so sometimes I notice it sticks out a little and doesn't completely stay in its holder. But it isnt too bad.

This is perfect for our brick mailbox. I didn’t want to screw something into the side. This sticks to the front of the actual box and works like a charm. We used the sticky piece and it worked great!

This was the perfect solution for my mailbox that is in a brick surround stand. Wasn’t sure what I was going to do for a flag until I found this one.

I really like this mailbox flag. It works very well and secures to the mailbox with screws with ease. However, you may need to put drill holes in mailbox door. It does come with A double sided 3m adhesive strip that seems to be very strong. I personally used the screws since it was very easy to make holes in mailbox door.

I purchased this because I had a new brick mailbox constructed and the flag for that couldn't be used in the brickwork, so I needed something that could be mounted on the door instead. For its intended purpose, this is far from a good value. It's made of cheap plastic and the red "MAIL" flag simply pops in to a couple of recesses on the main body. Which means the flag can (and at some point, will) be knocked out of the body. They should have used a metal hinge to secure the flag itself and I strongly recommend you drill it out to add one of your own after mounting on your mailbox. DON'T try to add a hinge before mounting it, as the room to work in the body is (of necessity) extremely limited and having the flag in the way will only cause frustration.I've only had it a couple of weeks now and so far I'm mostly dissatisfied with the number of times I've had to pick up and reseat the flag into the body. And since it's plastic, I fully expect that exposure to the elements is going to make it unusable quicker than it would be if it had been made of metal.Overall - if you need something to "look good" for when you sell your house, this will work well for you. If you want something to last and work well for a long period of time, I don't believe this is a product you will be satisfied with.
