Finally, a great hay bag with a quality rope that is soft enough to stay tied. This hay net is the perfect size: generous enough for several flakes but not too long to easily manage. Seriously, the soft rope is so much better than those slick, hard nylon ropes on other nets. I had to order more.

The construction of these nets is the best I've ever seen. The hang rope is thick but flexible, the body rope is thicker than all others I've bought. The netting is well spaced, where it slows my horse down but doesn't frustrate him. I can fit quite a bit of hay in one. I'm definitely going to buy more of these!

Overall they started out a bit stiff, but broke in pretty quick. Have been using for maybe a month or so now. No holes or anything. They are hung up with hay almost always in them. Would recommend.

These nets seemed pretty sturdy, but I wasn't able to actually use them. I would've definitely had my goats not been afraid of them! LOL

These have worked really well for my horses. I can fit 4-5 flakes easily, with room to add more if needed. I like that the draw string is a different color from the bag, it saves me some time when I'm trying to open/close bags. The string is also a soft material so it doesn't rub my hands like the hard nylon strings. I haven't had issues with tearing. I would say these are a good bag for the price.

I got these in the turquoise and they have been amazing. The color has held up and nothing has ripped. I am able to fit 4 to 6 flakes of alfalfa or grass hay if I stuff it full. Quality is amazing and have not had one tear yet. These have been in my trailer for long distances to Horse Shows and overnight at the shows. Nothing has ripped and the holes are small enough that they take a while to eat, but they don’t get agitated or frustrated while eating. When I am not using them I can fit 4 of them in my water bucket for storage.

I have tried so many different hay bags and they simply do not make them like they used to. I had high hopes for these as someone said they could fit 4-6 flakes in it. I don't know what size their bales are, but I feed a mixed grass (fescue) hay and I could barely fit two flakes. I use a measuring scale and could not fit more than 8.24 lbs in them which now requires me to fill twice a day instead of once. However, the bag quality is nice and the colors are pretty. If you don't need them for more than 8 lbs of hay I'd say go for it, but I won't be buying them again.

I bought these for a very destructive thoroughbred because he’d eaten his way through the super expensive “no break†ones 🙄These surprisingly have lasted a year and have worked out great. They’re a great size and hold quite a bit.

I took a punt with these…glad i did, they’re massive and strong enough to handle 2 horses sharing them, pulling at them in opposing directions!I’ve been using them for a few weeks now, really happy. Nice long tie-line to fasten however you choose.Great bags for overnight large hay nets. Roughly holding easily 8kg stuffed in.They’d easily carry a 20kg haylage bale in one.They’re heavy because of their size if youre soaking your hay and filling them to the max tho!Just as good quality as Shires ive been using for 10+yrs. they open really wide and easily without folding in on themselves.They dont have a round base metal ring - its not necessary for this design, it holds open well to fill….altho’ a job most hate after doing thousands in our lifetime! ;-)I took a punt on ‘amazon warehouse’ offer for these 2 - thinking they were likely just returns. They were brand new in packaging, never been used, no defects or problems, perfect!

Received on Sept 20 2021… in the garbage Sept 25th… didn’t last 5 days. I put both bags full in with 2 horses and there are already holes. Pretty disappointed.

One firs roughly 15 lbs of hay, but you really have to squish it in there, the other bag was smaller and only fit about 10 lbs.

Accurate description. I like the hanging rope it's soft and easier to tye and strong
