We bought this to fix the gaps in our “floating†floor in the kitchen. It was easy to use and very effective. We used a mallet, but the suction is so good you can just use your feet most of the time.

I had three outdoor porch spot lights that were wedged into the ceiling can 11 feet up. The suction extender did not have the power to unscrew the old bulbs. I measured the bulb width and it was 4.5 inches, exactly what this device was. So I got up on the ladder and used this suction cup which fit exactly and effortlessly unscrewed the light bulb. I used a one inch socket extender in each receptacle and replaced all the bulbs with daylight LED bulbs. Now, it's like the sun is still out when eating at night on the porch. This is a great invention.

I bought for an unintended use case: removing gaps in laminate wood flooring. Suction worked well on our boards since they are relatively flat/smooth. The robustness of the thickened aluminum held up well to the impact of a rubber mallet. Closed the gaps with a couple good whacks. Again, not its intended purpose so I would not have rated negatively if it didn’t perform on this task, but I was impressed. Easy to use, great suction, robust.

Works well. Strong suction. It’s not gonna pull dents out of your car, but thats not how it’s advertised so all is good. Watch your fingers it closes fast!

I needed a suction defice to remove a stuck plate. It worked perfectly. I'm sure I'll find other used for it now that I have it.
