I needed a new Makita battery and charger for my akita tools, and this set is nice. The charger can charge the battery fairly quickly. The battery holds a great charge and fits all of my 18V Makita tools. They are so easy to use too. The battery has the LED power indicators so I can easily see how much power is remaining in the battery.

Charges pretty quick. I was able to use with my mini chain saw and used it for a whole tree. Still had plenty juice left on battery

I got this to power a leaf blower. I only get 10-15 minutes or so off a charge. If you have serious blowing to do around the house or yard get two or three or just go corded electric. However I got this to keep my deck clean and to clear snow. So far works like a charm. No shoveling.If I buy another battery I might chance it on a knock off. I wanted an original Makita to see what the main is like. I went with this because I heard good things about the brand. So first foray into the Makita system. I’ve heard Milwaukee and DeWalt is what many contractors use. But I’m no where near a professional home owner.
