Bought this because of how much I like the regular size Malco bit driver. Nice solid handle that's easy to manipulate and hold onto. The locking chuck is one of the best I've ever used. There's also a strong magnet in the chuck which is a nice addition. The handle boasts itself as being shatterproof and will accept an 11/16 box-end wrench for more torque, but I don't believe I've ever had to do that with a driver handle. The handle shape is nice, it's smooth feeling, but my hand grips it well, it's not uncomfortable at all. Right now I'm using Makits XPS impact rated bit extentions with it and there's minimal play, but i'm sure different manufacturers will have different tollerances. I've found that it's much easier to carry these two matching bit drivers, a couple of extensions, and a small container of bits, than to pack a set of screwdrivers around, or make trips back and forth to the toolbox. Plus, I'd much rather swap out a worn bit than wear out my more expensive regular screwdrivers. Next thing to find is bit extentions that fit perfectly, I know they're out there. I may try the Malco flip-socket ones, but the description for those doesn't state that theyre made to be used exclusively as bit drivers, just nut drivers. The one picture is next to the regular length driver and a 6-inch bit extension for size. The other one Is to show how it fits in my xl glove size hand. I forgot to mention that these also have a lifetime warranty, and this company is owned by Snap-on

Is very helpful in tight areas. Not as small as some magnetic 6in1, but better than magnetic so I don’t drop bits in hard to reach spots and can use whatever specialty bit is needed. Would recommend across the board.

It's a sturdy little no-nonsense screwdriver that works with every bit I've tried in it. What's not to like?

Couldn’t be more pleased with this stubby bit holder screwdriver. Looks great and quality is great. The bit holder locks bits in and is very sturdy and straight. I absolutely recommend not only buying one of these but to buy multiples for your tool box, your vehicle and especially your motorcycle because it’s it’s compact and great quality.

First off, I think these are probably the best deal on a bit-holding screwdriver you can get. The mechanism is excellent, there's a little side to side play (probably varies depending on the quality of the bits, mine aren't that good) and no end play. The magnet isn't crazy strong, but it works well enough for picking up screws. The stubby is nice, but for me there's one small annoyance that another reviewer also mentioned. The locking collar for the chuck spins, and unfortunately it's positioned perfectly for your fingers to try to spin the screwdriver. I don't think this would be an issue on the full-size handle, but I think it makes the stubby version significantly worse than a regular stubby screwdriver. I think the Felo Ergonic bit-holder might be a better option for a stubby bit-holding screwdriver.

Solid build with fantastic finish on the lock mechanism. Has both a lockout ball for power drive bits, and a magnetic base with proper depth to hold smooth short bits. All with zero slop, . In fact, this stubby model along with Malco’s standard version have the best fit of any driver handles I have owned since first becoming a professional mechanic in 1980.While there is no torque advantage to the handle shape, it is ergonomic fitting in the palm of your hand. The fluted sides are directly reminiscent of the shape and construction of Craftsman handles of the 1960s-on, minus a ball end, and with a transparent blue tint.BTW, that familiar six (6) fluted shape is not only comfortable to grip, in desperate times it allows the handle to be torqued with a socket or end wrench.

Absolutely fan bloody tastic. Don't feel like using it but keep it on shelf. Well done Taiwan and Malco.

Happy I tried this little stubby out. Neat concept and well made. Solid handle, tight tolerances make for a reliable tool. Very versatile as you can use one handle with multiple nut driver and screw driver bits as long as they are 1/4 inch quick connect.
