This model, Malco's MSHMLC2 C-RHEX "building construction," is slightly deeper than the MSHMLC RHEX and is intended for use with fasteners like concrete anchors and roofing screws. It has the added bonus of the ability to hold 1/4 bits, similar to the Klein flip sockets. Because it's a little deeper, and the magnet seems to be set deeper, it will not grab smaller sheet metal fasteners quite as well as the MSHMLC RHEX, so you would be better served by the original if that is your intended use. Malco's build quality is always solid, and I have had no trouble with them. I love the shoulder behind the socket, which reinforces and supports the socket and also prevents the socket from getting inadvertently pulled off when you're backing out of a closed space. Depending on your use case, the RHEX or C-RHEX should serve you well, and I would highly recommend them.

These are great, my Malco 1/4 ~ 5/16ths "flippies". I have a couple of each length. If you're a Tradesman who uses an impact on a daily or semi-daily basis (HVAC Especially), you'll want these. However, you don't have to be a tradesman to enjoy the convenience of these bits. A handy man or do-it-yourselfer would appreciate them just as much, or even the weekend warrior or avid tool lover. My ONLY gripe with them (not necessarily the tool's fault) is that once in a while let's say you go to remove a screw that has something on the head, and so it makes the fitment snug when you pull back/out on the screw as it's coming out, and sometimes the flip head will actually stay stuck to the screw head and you may not notice it right away, or sometimes it'll stick to the screw head and as you pull back, the tip separates from the driver and fastener and there goes your tip off to never never land, most likely never to be found again, depending on the situation. Sort of the nature of the beast there until a better EZ lock/unlock design is thought of. Until that point in time, what would be NICE (MALCO, are you listening??) is if Malco also sold just the tip portion of this driver tool, in say a 2, 3 or 4-pk or something. I'd buy those automatically TBH! As it is now, if the driver end pops off and you can't grab or find it in time, you're SOL and have to buy another entire flippie driver. Seems silly. That's the only reason I give these a 4* vs a 5*. I've also tried a couple other brands of this style of multi nut driver tool, and they also work fine, but I just like the design & size of the Malco versions by comparison.~ Waiting patiently for Malco to do the right thing and also sell just the driver ends, for those of us who've lost them in the past. This thing is really priced well and does everything someone needs from an item like this. The flip bit is huge for those that need it. But ability to clean off metal shavings keeps it working properly instead of having you looking for something to clean it out with. Seems to hold on to bit well even dangling from a carabiner. It increases your options while retaining the intuitive nature you expect.

Like most Malco brand tools this thing is a way over priced piece of trash. The magnet fell out the first day and is now useless, its a great concept but save your self the frustration and buy a different brand !!
