I used these for a water filter installed. Electrical knock outs threaded lock rings fit these. Used em to go in a 5 gal jugs lid and into a faucet bib to create a custom fill setup.

I needed this for a collection barrel for an RO wastewater system. I drilled the hole into the plastic barrel and used a socket to tighten the quick connect into the hole. Sturdy plastic and held up to the torque of the installation.

For a 5 pack the value is pretty great. These will work great with Teflon tape. Without it, it will leak...with it, it’s fantastic. Given you get a bunch for the few dollars spent it’s worth it.

These sit flush in the pvc fitting resulting in a much cleaner look. The brand purchased locally sticks out exposing threads and looks unfinished. Not leaks or failures to date

I really needed these to have NPT threads on them, but they do not. They are straight threads where NPT (plumbing) threads are slightly tapered. The result is that it is next to impossible to get a leak-proof seal even using a ton of Teflon tape. They screw all of the way into a 1/2" FNPT fitting with no resistance and still feel loose. I do not recommend these for water connections.
