Let me start by saying I've tried a number of wide neck nipples including Lansinoh, Evenflo Balance, Comotomo, Avent, NUK, and narrow neck nipples including Avima, Dr. Brown's, and Lifefactory. It has been a frustrating journey as I bought bottles and found the nipples they came with to be too fast flowing and had to buy nipples separately, only to find my baby still doesn't feed well on them. My son is nearly two months old and has been mostly bottle fed, with some time at breast.I thought I settled on Evenflo Balance and Lansinoh slow flow but decided to give MAM a try, and I'm so glad I did. This nipple checks all of my boxes, including some the other two don't. I was looking for a wider neck, a soft nipple, a vented nipple, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, a feeding experience that doesn't leave my son gulping air and drowning. Evenflo Balance loses on nipple softness (quite rigid), flow rate (I find it a bit toooo slow where my son will fall asleep before finishing a bottle, and the next level up is too fast), and my son always seems to find latching on it very awkward. Lansinoh provides a very natural easy latch and softer nipple, but even the slow flow is too fast for my son. He needs to be burped frequently during feedings on the Lansinoh.My son latches to MAM easily with NO ISSUES during feeding. He only needed to be burped at the end of feeding and fell asleep. The nipple is soft and fits the Lansinoh and Evenflo Balance wide neck bottles, so I don't have to buy any more bottles. This nipple doesn't leave me wanting for anything, so my search is over finally!!

These bottle nipples are so realistic, I’m starting to feel jealous. My baby latched on like, ‘Finally, the upgrade we’ve been waiting for!’ Meanwhile, I’m sitting there like an obsolete model. They’ve survived my baby’s vacuum-level suction, multiple dishwasher trips, and one unfortunate incident involving the dog (don’t ask). If these nipples had a fan club, my baby would be president. As for me? I’ll just be over here, waiting for my turn to be appreciated again

The flow is so much more different from the 2’s definitely a lot more harder for baby to get used to.

Perfect for my 32 weeker. She is pretty eager to eat so this slows her down a bit. I would say dr browns might be slower flow.. but I pace feed her and she has no issues going breast to bottle, bottle to breast.
