I used this in my motorhome to add an on/off switch to a new 12 volt refrigerator I installed. It seems to be of good quality and it turns the fridge on and off like I wanted it too. However, I had to go back to my order on Amazon to get the instructions for wiring the switch. You would think they could have included that in the packaging, but it worked out fine since the had the information on the Amazon listing.

Bought this switch and it was broken within a few days of installing it. Another I had purchased a few weeks prior also failed after about a month of use. Do not buy this switch, there are better ones on the market.Install was mostly fine but needed to reference another review for directions on how to wire it, it would have been relatively simple to include a paper diagram or simple notations on the plastic.After a few days and only a few times using the switch, it stopped working. After removing the switch I could hear pieces rattling around inside the plastic. I took it apart and found that the metal rocker mechanism / connectors had fallen off their mountings. Tried for 20 minutes to get them back aligned and the switch back together but ended up quitting in favor of just buying a different switch that's worked for me in the past.

This DPST rocker switch is well made. The big advantage of this particular item is that it comes with a small mounting panel, so you do not need to make one yourself. Though advertised as a 12V switch for use in a car or boat, it will of course work just fine for any application where you need a low-voltage switch.

This switch is nicely made and very durable. Would have given it a 5 star but the ON/OFF portion of the rocker switch was on backwards. When ON, it showed OFF. Pulled switch apart and reversed the rocker switch. Mounted and looks great
