I have been researching and the more I studied, the more I realized I would need to spend $100 or more for an entry level grinder. I had all intentions of sending this back but after my first cup, I am blown away. It is all metal construction, took about 20 seconds to easily grind enough medium-fine for 1 cup of Aeropress. Looks like it will have minimal static cling. Taste of first cup is 10x better than the same coffee I have been grinding in a Cuisinart electric burr grinder. This is a keeper and only $19.A previous review I read said this has ceramic burrs, but mine are beautiful steel burrs

good materials are fully metal but grinding a large amount of beans takes a long time ( ~5 mins) depending on the grind fineness, when put on fine settings sometimes it doesn't grind at all.

This grinder was sure a step up from my last one! The grinder itself is very easy to use including the grind size adjustment key. The grinds come out very consistently sized and there is very minimal lass in weight through the grinding process. The construction is amazing, the grinder feels very solid in the hand, and the knurling makes the grinder very easy to hold. The grinder is easier than others to clean, but it isn't the easiest (which is common with a grinder of this caliber) so that's not really a plus or a minus. Overall, I am super happy with the grinder!

If you have never used a manual grinder for coffee there is a SLIGHT learning curve to it, but nothing that should deter you from using it. It did take me a bit to figure out the right setting for the proper grind for my coffee, as I kept setting it too fine, even though I had it up pretty high (at least I thought so) and it wasn't really grinding the beans. Once I got the setting right the grinding process went really fast and I was pretty happy with the consistency of the grounds. This grinder holds enough for 2 servings of pour-over or french press, or if you can get it fine enough, a couple shots of espresso. I haven't tested it for espresso yet though as I don't have an espresso machine.
