Took a while to dial in my first try but once I got the workflow down, I think I found my go-to hand grinder. So many ppl are obsessed with expensive brand name equipment, and sure— for good reason, but what about those of us who don’t have the luxury to spend $100 or more for a grinder? This grinder feels substantial, and is well machined. The grinds have come out uniform and have produced several shots of quality espresso. The grinder feels good in the hand, and does not take as long as anticipated.I’ve already sent links recommending it. ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

Nice grinder feels high quality and moves really smooth. Took a bit to figure out attaching the handle but smooth sailing from there on out.

I replaced my $9 coffee grinder with this one after it disintegrated internally after a few months of daily use...I looked at every option under $50. My main concerns were the bearings and the burr, I looked for any that had steel bearings and secondarily a steel burr. I cannot believe what a difference it is from the $9 grinder I had been using, the body is machined aluminum with knurled vertical grooves which means less grip strength required while cranking, so no more hand cramps, the large wooden knob is very comfortable and the odd bend in the handle improves lateral stability by reducing the angular force between the handle and the burr mechanism. My previous stainless / ceramic grinder used to take about 10-15 minutes to grind light roast beans, I would start my electric kettle half way through grinding (the kettle takes about 5 minutes to boil), but this Badelite grinder is finished in about 2-3 minutes - and when it's done the handle spins freely - those steel bearings are really a great design feature. Highly recommended.

Wouldn't grind anything until I opened it up to the coarsest setting and it locked up halfway through the first grind. In order to "unstuck" it, since I have the right tools, I figured I would take advantage of the "ease of disassembly for cleaning". Nope, not gonna happen, put together way too tight for the tools designed for this, I would need a breaker bar and a heavy duty screwdriver. I gave up, buying a different one.

the grinder is easily adjustable and has a very nice wooden handle that make it both aesthetic and comfortable to use.
