I’m reviewing the: “Manual Transfer Switch 100 Amp NEMA 4X, Generator Transfer Switch…â€I’m not an electrician, but I’m happy with this item. I had my electrician look it over in anticipation of installing it later. He said it was a good product, well made and will be easy to install.I did notice that there was a little binding in the switching mechanism, but it probably won’t be noticeable after a little breaking in period.

This transfer switch is a really good safe way to transfer energy during a power outage. This is much better than the old way of back feeding an outlet which can overload that circuit and can cause a fire. The switch arm throws nice and brisk locking in position like it should.
