My son loves the temperature gage for his betta fish.Very easy to use just put it tank and in and one hour later your betta fish will be happy. Second on I've bought.

I purchased this thermometer without realizing it was quite large; it stands nearly as tall as my fish tank, which is 3 inches deep. While my current tank is somewhat shallow, this thermometer is essential for monitoring the temperature in a fish tank. The price was excellent, so I decided to keep it and will place it in a larger fish tank in the future.

This thermometer sits on bottom as advertised, and mostly stays in place, but when the fish bump it, it will turn. The display is really hard to see-read, I had to get a magnifying glass to properly see it. Even then, seeing the red was hard. I do wear glasses for reading, but even with the glasses on I could not see it. It also seems to always be about the same temperature, even when my heater malfunctioned. I am not positive with this as it is so hard to see, so my rating is only for being able to read this.

Bought it because I wanted a free standing thermometer for our tiny fish tank and it was a bonus that it was inexpensive. You get what you paid for since it only worked for 3 1/2 weeks before picking it up from the tank and it broke. Simply lifted it out of the tank and the bottom fell off and all of the little silver metal balls fell to the bottom of the tank. Thankfully the fish was out while we were getting ready to clean it. Almost impossible to sift out the little balls out of the rocks…what a mess! Was hard to read anyway…not worth two cents if you ask me!

I have a 10 gallon betta tank that I need to keep tabs on the temperature. In the past I have tried the regular thermometers that stick to the side, those suck because after a while they no longer stick and just wind up floating around your tank plus they are hard to hide and an eyesore. I've also tried the sticker thermometers but those lose their accuracy and I do not trust them plus those also do not look great.I ordered this one because I have never tried this kind before and honestly I will never have another type of thermometer. It sinks right to the bottom and stays wherever you put it. I was able to hide mine behind a pot I had inside the fish tank so that I can still read the temperature from the side but from the front view of the tank you cannot see it.Plus I will add that it has been very accurate so far and I also like that the ideal temperature for most fish is highlighted in green. For $2 in change this is a must have for fish tank enthusiasts you won't be disappointed.

Un termómetro de calidad, se va al fondo del acuario y ahà se mantiene. No requiere ventosas. El único inconveniente es que depende de la ubicación del mismo y del tipo de estanque, los números pueden ser difÃciles de ver. Tiene una zona sombreada con la temperatura "ideal" para peces (20° a 25°C).
