Martin Retro strings are the real deal. Not an imitation. With Martin Retro strings, you get one tough set that offers true, consistent tone and sounds like nothing else on the market. Martin’s solid nickel/copper alloy blend provides a reduced pick attack that allows the guitar’s tonewoods to be heard, not overshadowed. Martin’s proprietary Monel wrap wire is naturally corrosion resistant, so you can play them for a long time with nothing to get in the way of your music. Discover your guitar’s true voice.

I've always used Martin strings on my Washburn 12 string.I have never tried these Martin strings before.I was surprised how well they played and how light they were andhow easy on my fingers they were.I can play an easy hour or more without finely putting the guitar down.Yes, I like them and we'll see how long they hold their brightness.

These strings are phenomenal and they're all I use on my Martin acoustics! Try different gauges for different guitars and different styles, and they always sound incredible. They're also very durable and in my experience, they last a long time.

These bronze strings are soft to the touch, keep in tune very well once broken in, and they don’t break your wallet. I humidify my music room and these don’t tarnish like other strings. On my Guild these are all I’m using now, coated phosphor bronze and that awesome Martin sound. I plan to upgrade to mahogany bridge pins next string change. I love this combination!

For me, they last as long as coated or treated strings (I clean my strings often), but sound better to me and are alot cheaper.

These balance the upper, middle, and low tones, reducing the natural brightness of my 12-string. These may not please everyone, but I like the way they allow me to hear the guitar 'wood' through the strings. Other strings emphasize the brightness which has its place, but I didn't need that on my 12-string. I have Retros on one of my 6-strings as well.

Since i discover monel retros i didn't look further. Using them on my mahogany back cedar top acoustic guitar and couldn't be happier.

They’re Martins. They hold tune. They have a nice 12 string jingle.

se rompieron 2 cuerdas al hacer el cambio, decepcionante, esto no ocurre con rotosound
