I needed a seat for a loaner bassoon that didn't have a clip and didn't want to pay a lot of money for a temporary instrument. Works fine but seems like cheap material (foam) on the cup so I wouldn't invest in this long term. There are a lot better straps out there if this is your go-to style of seat strap.

Good product. You must be careful with the latches since mine broke after 3 weeks and trying to tighten it on a new chair. For the price I just ordered another one.

I’m a bassoon teacher. One of my students just ordered this, and my impression is not good. The square in the middle is not a good idea, and the loop for attaching to the chair is not necessary. All you need is a thicker strap to sit on, so you can pull it one way or the other to raise or lower the bassoon. This strap is too narrow and the added “features†don’t really work. Just get one of the Protec seat straps instead.
