The Master Lock No. 527D Covered Solid Body Padlock features a 2in (51mm) wide black vinyl covered body for scratch and corrosion resistance. The 5/16inin (8mm) diameter shackle adjusts from 2-3/8in (6cm) to 5-15/16in (15cm) long; and is made of vinyl-clad hardened steel, offering extra resistance to cutting, sawing and surface marring. The 4-pin cylinder prevents picking and the dual locking levers provide resistance against prying and hammering.

I recommend this lock for anyone with awkward lock sizes. I bought for my mini barn outside and struggled to find a lock to fit the awkward door clasps. I really like that I can adjust the lock size. Great buy. It is very sturdy and very strong and well made. It comes with 2 keys so both my husband and I both have one.

I was looking for an inexpensive way to lock up the alcohol. This worked perfectly. The lock case was opened, but two keys were inside, and everything worked.

So disappointed! BUT, it is a good quality product, the prongs simply weren't long enough for what I wanted to do. It is a very sturdy lock, came with two keys, and I could have sworn I read another review that said it fit his doorknobs. No luck with mine though.The product itself is excellent, just didn't work out for me. Have to return.

I originally purchased this lock due to its long shackle, allowing me to lock up a massive 100 gallon Grizzly cooler when transporting it in my truck bed. However, I've now made this a staple in my truck EDC kit, and have used it for everything from securing bed items to locking kitchen cabinets.This is an incredibly versatile lock, and don't see many security issues with it that any other lock of this category wouldn't also have. Remember, no padlock is 100% secure, and just about any of them can easily be cut off with bolt cutters or an angle grinder. Just be smart with what you're securing!
