My first use of this after it arrived seemed as if it would end in disappointment for another useless plunger, but 5mins of plunging later and the toilet announced success with a mighty flush. Since that initial use, I have had to use it a couple other times, but I have only taken up to maybe 4 plunges and the toilet is cleared. So there's a bit of a learning curve since the end of the plunger isn't designed to create a vacuum seal. You basically are forcing a powerful jet stream of the bowl's water into to toilet towards the blockage. It's been effective for me, but I guess it also may depend on just what (or what amount) is blocking your toilet. Also...these are for toilets only. This will likely not work for sink clogs.

Didn't do crap. Literally. Spent around an hour over the course of a day plunging for my life with this thing. At the end of the day, I finally Googled when Lowes closes, then saw that I had 30 minutes left to pick up an auger, so I did. The auger worked and only cost 12 bucks. This thing was as useless as a standard flanged plunger in my crappily-designed low-flow toilet.

I live in an old house with old plumbing. I need a plunger fairly frequently. The old-style just didn’t do the trick. This one gets down into the opening of the waste drain and has much stronger pressure flow for each push. I have them in each bathroom. So glad they come with their own storage buckets. They might be prettier in a color other than black, but their effectiveness far outweighs that minor aesthetic issue.

Does not seal very well because it is hard plastic. A rubber standard cheap plunger ended up working best. Will be looking for this style design made with better material.

it works! It does not suck out a clog. You wouldn’t want to deal with whatever was in there but the suction is way more than the other plungers. It dislodges the clog using suction as well as push force to move it through and down to clear. The funneled is longer than I expected and it is hard plastic and does not have that weird thing/flap inside that some plungers have that tucks up inside that people forget to use and it harbors old poop soup from days of by gone clogs. As advertised, it does not splash back and get any grossness on you. It cleared the toilet clog that my boyfriend tried to blame on me and it cleared that cinder block out of there in a jiff with no mess. No poop soup was splashed on me or the floor in the endeavor. A regular plunger does not hold a fart-lit candle to this plunger… no way. And … I have one of the dreaded ultra low flow toilets at 1.0 GPF. It still worked excellent. So now … I feel like Tim Taylor on that Home Improvement show. Or perhaps Bob Vila hehe I like the name I picked for this plunger better. I am now calling it the “Flush Master 5000†With an anti poop soup design and longer funnel for a cleaner and more comfortable plunge that’d make anyone the envy of any owner of this here doozy of a plunger. ;-) no self respecting woman with any other humans around who also eat food at anytime … while also having an ultra low flow toilet would or should be without one of these. And they are not ugly. The bucket portion is actually narrow and taller than a bucket which makes it easy to conceal fro our more discerning (AKA Judgey†friends when using our “powder room†… ;-)
