Every time I move, I get a new plunger. Throughout the years, I have bought 3 different plungers on Amazon and this one is the best! This is the 2nd time I'm buying this plunger and it works both for my old and new apartment. The OXO plunger doesn't work at all for my new apartment. Please don't ever discontinue this!!!

The plunger handle screws together and is made of heavy duty plastic. This might have caused some concern had I known before purchasing it. But once I put hands on and put it together, I’m confident in saying it’ll last as long as I will ever need it. The handle screws together and then screws into the plunger bell. Altogether, the plunger is well worth the money, well engineered, and of a high quality. I’d purchase it again and recommend it to others.

After 6 treatments of Drano, it took this thing 4 pumps to fix the drain. And the vacuum suction is amazing, no matter the odd angle, it’s super sealed. Excellent yet simple. Thanks!

Honestly, it was a disappointment from when it arrived in a box not that much bigger than a coffee mug would be.Main issue: The materials used.A plastic handle that comes in two parts you screw together with plastic threading. Which is a a good 2-3 inches shorter than you want for the job. It's fine but doubt it'll stay screwed solidly together without adding super glue to the joint. The "cup" is a very soft rubber as opposed any previous plunger I've used with a much firmer & thicker rubber. For comparison, if the rubber were a ball, this plunger would be more like a cheap dodge ball instead of a rubber basketball. The upside to the rubber used is its a bit hydrophobic so putting it away reduces dripping. As for actual plunging, this design does form a good seal, but it splashs water around a lot, a lot, & much more unpredictably than other brands/designs even when trying to be careful not to make a mess.We had our first bad clog since getting this one, after our 20+ y/o plunger's wooden handle broke. After trying for at least 10 minutes with this new plunger I just had to give up and hope the water will soften the clog & then it will be able to finish the job.It may be right for you if you only need a little assistance. But my first thought after using it was "Can you even return a used plunger?" Love the "cup" design just wish the rubber was thicker/firmer, along with a metal handle, then it would probably be great.
