This fits my German-shepherd-sized cattle dog mix’s 8.5†bowl perfectly. As for slowing him down? Yeah. I think it does. He can eat an entire chicken thigh in two bites and was eating so fast that he was vomiting. Since I’ve been using this, we haven’t had any more incidents!He came to me with bowls already, so I didn’t want to waste money buying a whole other set. This insert works well and is pretty easy to clean. There are suction cups on the bottom to keep it in place, and he hasn’t chewed any of the silicone. An overall win.

I have a gassy French bulldog and he speed eats making him a little fart monster. This product has slowed him down and made him less gassy. Highly recommended. Made from good quality rubber with tons of suction cups on bottom so it stays put.

I love these slow feeder inserts! Most slow feeders I’ve seen are made out of plastic and don’t come apart which makes it difficult to clean. These are easy to use, fit all my metal bowls, and top rack dishwasher safe which makes feeding time easy.They are true to the picture, nice gray color. They don’t unstick easy, even with liquid in the bowl. My dogs loved them! Huskies need tons of stimulation so these slow feeder bowls are perfect for them! It makes feeding fun and interesting. They can use their nose to move the folds of the slow feeder so they are still able to get to all of their kibble.Overall, I am completely satisfied! The seller even reached out to check we received the package which has never happened before from an Amazon order.

Used this when the puppies were young to slow their eating down. Worked pretty good. Didn't stay in our bowl the best but then the bowl coulda been the problem. Durable and easy to clean. They always took it out and played with it so it was multi functional lol

I purchased these for each one of my dogs because the eat way to fast, I should say they inhale their food, and I wanted something that would slow them down a little. I put these in their bowls and after my Boxer/Pit mix used it for the first time his cheeks were all raw because of how hard the plastic was. My Boxer could only eat from the top of the slow feeders because of how short his muzzle is, so he couldn't get the food on the bottom. I did like the idea of them being removeable from their existing bowls, but I did end up returning them.
