This treat/food puzzle is made really well and it's a little more difficult than the basic round slide puzzle. I think it would be better for a medium/large dog, because my small dog's claws get into the cutout shapes on the slide covers. Also some of the covers don't slide very easily, so she paws at it more. The squeaky in the middle is great, when she hears it she knows it's puzzle time and comes running to play.

Very happy with this product! Both of my dogs love it. It is challenging enough that it takes them a while to get all the food out so it keeps them from being bored and gives them something challenging to do. It has a mixture of easier compartments and more difficult compartments. At first, they really struggled to figure it out. Over time they got really good at it and could get the food out quickly, so I put it away for a couple months and then brought it out again.

Overall, I really appreciate this puzzle/feeder toy. My puppy looks forward to it, I use it for a mid day snack and she gets excited when I pull it out. She is a German Shepard/Belgian Malinois mix so needs constant engagement and this distracts her while I get a few chores done while mentally stimulating her. We have had it about a week and she is still engaged so that is a plus. It has held up to her biting and chewing as well. Fast delivery and good price. Only drawback I would point out is that some of the pieces that slide will get stuck occasionally, like out of the groove and I have to push them back in place . But still very pleased.

This is a learning experience for your puppy. It is colorful one easy to use. My puppy spends hours with it even if there are no treats in the compartments.

Our four-month-old husky-mix puppy (20+pounds) loves this! She immediately figured out that she could move the white paw pieces with her nose, but the bone pieces require the central pieces to be in the right configuration first. She was not willing to let me give her clues for the last two bones until she was really tired. This is her first puzzle toy but, as good as she is with figuring things out, it worked well for being challenging, fun, but not frustrating. It comfortably holds one-third cup of small kibble. The pieces are designed not to pull out, and they held up to her, an aggressive chewer. When she was done, she wouldn’t let it be taken away. We’re looking forward to her next meal and more fun.

If you have a puppy in need of mental stimulation or just to know they are not chewing on something they shouldn't be - this is perfect. My 8-month-old pitt mix loves this. What's even better about this I don't have to fill all of the treat spots to keep him interested in "finding" the treats. Dishwasher safe, easy to use and so far he only pushes the buttons around to look for snacks.

I have had this puzzle for 2 years now. My dog can now solve it in about 5-6 minutes, but he absolutely loves it nevertheless, and still has to put in the effort! Highly durable, very sturdy and cleans easily (I put in in the dishwasher). I definitely recommend

I was looking for a dog puzzle that would engage my Cockapoo for a few minutes. He quickly figured out how to get some of the food out but was so overly excited, that he tried to bite the sliding tabs off. Luckily, the puzzle held up to his attempts. I think it may be a good puzzle for a calm temperament dog.

My Jack Russell puppies love it. It was somewhat easy after a week for them, but I've had it for over a month now and all the parts are still fixed and not chewed on, even though my dogs love to rip things apart. It helps slow down their eating and keeps them engaged for a while.

This is a good puzzle but I’m afraid to leave it down on the floor for long because it really isn’t Rotty proof
