My wife bought this set for a craft project, mostly for the compass. Leads are too fragile for her purpose, if using for drafting I'm sure it would work fine. Nice it came with an assortment of templates (not sure if that's what they're called) that she was able to utilize.

This set is very nice and sturdy. I bought this for my tenth grader who is going into Geometry. It contains every tool he will possible need for the class. Not to mention the case it comes in ! very useful! I can see this lasting the whole school year.

Nice, but ruler totally warped after being left in the car. So, be careful where you leave it, as it is pretty thin plastic.

I purchased this set to help with the drawings and sketches that I do to make jewelry designs that I make into beaded projects. I like the compass to make an even curve and the rest help with the design too. The case makes it easy for me to carry this helpful tool with me when I am out sketching. This set was a great value for the money and met my needs.
