I replaced the tuners on a customer's Squire Jazz bass and these fit almost perfectly. I say almost because I had to redrill 3 of the 4 screw holes - but that is fairly normal. They work perfectly, look exactly like the ones I removed (except these actually work) and my customer is quite happy.

Cheap, functional, and no issues. Absolutely adequate for replacing the same style tuning machines. Not a birthday gift for mum, but they're a good value for the price.

I was expecting cheap junk but the quality is better than factory made. If you need an electric base tuning machine don't hesitate.

Direct fit for squire, easy to install, keeps bass in tune even after a week stored in the case. These are NOT sealed, so you'll need to occasionally check the screw on the back of the headstock after install. Overall a good replacement.

Tuners were fine, for the price, but out of the 5 in the set, 4 were oriented in the wrong direction for my guitar. There was only 1 I could use. I now realize this was due to some basses having 5 strings, and putting one turner opposite the others, but I didn't look for that. Anyway, I only needed one tuner, so I used the one that suited my application; all is well. For the price, I'm not really complaining; it was just something I wasn't aware of.

These are identical to the tuning machines which broke on my Cort 5 string bass. Same as what they use on a lot of Ibanez & Squier models. I'd call these oversees original equipment. I was able to save and repair some of my old tuners using parts from these new ones.Just like all tuning machines of this style they require adjustment. Using a screwdriver I tightened the knob buttons to the tuners so they would have more resistance to turning. Helps keep away rattles and mysterious tuning instabilities.For the price this was an unbeatable deal and did not change the appearance of the guitar. I was able to repair my bass with no additional modding. At some point I'll upgrade to better more expensive tuners, but for now I'll just play the instrument.
