These planters are made of thick formed plastic. Its very strong. They do have drai. Holes made into the bottom. There's no catch tray, so they will drain onto whatever is underneath them. They have a pretty small capacity and would be suitable for strawberries, greens or small ornamental flowers.The ad seemed to me like it was showing that these easily hooked together and hung. The back pieces seem like they're made to do that, but It was like the plastic was out of shape or off just a little. I wasn't able to get them together like that. They do have built in screw holes for separate hanging.

This spring I plan to add to my garden by creating a wall or vertical garden for strawberries, herbs, and edible flowers. These are built just for such a thing and I love it! They are certainly deep enough for the shallow root system of some strawberry varieties. They are all slanted to allow stacking while still allowing maximum sunlight exposure. They feel thick enough to not easily break or shatter. I cannot say, yet, how well they will hold up with constant sun exposure. Only a couple of years will give a good picture of that! I intend to paint the outside of them to match the other planters I have for the wall.

These are perfect for making an herb wall. I like the size of them, not too big, but big enough for 3 small herb plants, like oregano, sage, and thyme. Those are the three I've started in the first one I've got going and they are doing well. The price at $26 is reasonable for the set of 4 and comparable to other similar items. Very happy with this order.

As I have used nearly every square inch of space with sunlight in my yard, going vertical was about my only other option. So I got this planter. The four pack can be connected together to form one tall stack, or as I did, use them with just 2 together. This allows me to easily manage the planter and hang it on a lower wall or even a fence as each piece seems to be a bit less than a foot high.It took a bit of effort to put the parts together but once locked in, they are very secure - no concerns whatsoever of them coming apart. In the photo I have basic growing and its working well. Each piece has drain holes in the bottom. This should probably allow for top watering the stack though I am doing both individually. Its idea for drip irrigation.Due to the limited size, they are ideal for herbs, bushy flower types, and such. They are about the ideal size for herbs in my opinion. Overall I am very pleased with these.

These planters are great for living wall type designs. I am using this pack of 4 vertical garden planters in my grow room to increase the amount of usable space in my small grow room. These planters are 13 inches long, so they work well to hold several seedlings at a time. I put plants that are in nursery pots into the planters, but they can be planted in directly as well.These planters are nice quality and very lightweight, but the planters are still holding up well and I have been using them indoors for a couple of months. I will be using these planters for a long time.

At this price, I was expecting a better product.You can say it is a Planter, yes it is, it can hold soil and it has drainage, it can connect each other you can have a vertical planter. It is doing all that is listed in the product description but,but....you can find very similar products for a lower price in dollar stores.

These made a beautiful living wall on your gazebo. Very sturdy and just the correct size. Well worth the purchase.
