April 2024:I bought the moon and star version of this Futon in August of 2022. My husband and I had two kids at the time and I was pregnant with my third. We had never owned a futon mattress before but every room in our house was occupied and my husband developed a nasty snore. I needed something that I could roll out on the living room floor to sleep at night and then roll back up out of the way.It is surprisingly comfortable for being much thinner than the kind of mattresses that I am used to. To be fair, I like extremely firm mattresses. Having a pad on a carpeted floor is exactly what my back needs. I sleep better on this pad than my actual bed. The rest of my family also heavily uses this pad. Sometimes I can sleep in my own bed if my husband is only quietly snoring. When that happens I still have to put out the futon at night because I will wake up to one or two children on it. My two year old needed to stop sleeping in his crib earlier than his siblings did and he often seems to prefer this mattress for sleeping at night. Sometimes even my husband sleeps on this thing and, while he does prefer our mattress, he seems to sleep well on it.It is pretty beaten up by now but keep in mind this thing has been HEAVILY used by 5 people, frequently left out during the day and played/jumped on. My husband has extremely sharp toenails and the material is wearing thin down at the bottom where his feet tend to rest. I have managed to patch that area up without much fuss.This thing has been bled on, peed on, puked on, etc. and it cleans up really well. We don't put it in a washing machine or anything like that. We do spot clean it and often hang it up to air out. There isn't anything that I haven't been able to get completely out of this pad. I don't know about any of the other color options but stains just don't seem to stick to the moon and star fabric. Also, it does not hold onto smells. I think it might have something to do with the fact that this can easily be hung over a railing for a few hours here and there.Two years later after taking a huge beating by a family of 5, this thing is still comfortable. It's maybe a little thinner than when we first bought it but any mattress would be after what we have put this poor thing through. Whenever we manage to destroy it, because that's going to happen with the kind of use it gets, I will 100% replace it with another of the exact same brand and pattern.

I am so very glad I ordered this futon cover. My back and shoulders were very sore after a muscle injury and I couldn't sleep on my original mattress. I put this on my bed and it has enough firmness and cradle, that i have gotten the best rest I have had in months! Highly recommended this product and is very resonanable priced for the best comfort! You be the judge!

I wasn't too sure about this at first. It was a lot thinner than I was expecting, but it's actually very comfortable. Super convenient to have when you need an extra 'bed' for company. My brother used it during Christmas, and he's a big guy. He had no complaints. Easy to roll up and store in the closet.

It’s a decent size, but not as thick as I hoped. I bought it for when I have guests over, and my friend had said that it was okay, but it was really thin, and she may as well have had slept directly on the floor for how thin it was. It’s comfy to me, but I can see where sleeping on it for long periods of time would be uncomfortable.

The futon is very comfortable. I ended up buying another one recently. I did notice that the color was darker on the newer one that I received. I only bought them one month apart from each other. But honestly, I don’t care. I’m just gonna be using it to sleep on.

I don't often write reviews but this buy deserves one. I've owned a very high end expensive mattress in my home for the last 6 years. I was recently away from home and needed a sleeping option. I bought this mat as I figured family members could borrow it when they came to visit. Sleeping on this thing for a few nights, I and my partner BOTH had the best sleep of the last 8 years! WOW! I got home to my overpriced mattress and I'm so terribly disappointed. I'm trying to figure out if I should convert my mattress for guests and just sleep on this thing on the floor. Absolutely excellent sleep and I am highly impressed. When I first saw it, it didn't impress much, as it looked thin and uncomfortable. I haven't slept this good in years. Excellent mat and worth every cent. It went from a temporary use to full time use too.

Got this for visiting company to sleep on for the holidays. It is thicker than most in its class as pictured and does expand to full size from packaging. However the downside is it’s bulky and it does not come with anything to help store it like others I bought. No bag or built in strings to keep it folded. It rolls up as pictured in the add and that’s about it. Make sure you have enough space to store it.

The only reason I give it 4 not 5 stars is that the seams of the mattress have a few spots where they are ripped slightly and a couple of 2-3inch sections that are not stitched at all. This is an easy fix for me, but still annoying.Other than that, this is an amazing deal for a queen sized mattress, it comes with a matching cover and a huge storage bag (which I think I will be using as a laundry bag-bonus!) and this seller responds quite quickly.Overall I am very happy, and I will add photos in a couple of days once the futon has a chance to breathe the air back in- but even out of the box it seems like it will be comfortable.

En la descripción mencionaba que era un poco mas grueso por lo tanto mas cómodo, esta es la medida “individual†y en las medidas de la descripción decÃa que era mas ancho ese tamaño y solo cabe una persona, la tela del forro no es de buena calidad, no es incomodo tampoco, pero por el precio esta caro para lo que es, no lo volverÃa a comprar ni lo recomendarÃa, si fuera el precio un poco más barato tal vez si valdrÃa la pena calidad precio pero a estas condiciones la verdad no.Si buscas algo asÃ, vete por alguna otra marca .

The images in this listing and the words “extra thick†lead one to believe this futon is at least the thickness of a true Japanese futon mattress (typically 6†or 15cm). In reality it is only 3†(7cm) thick, and this was after 72hrs of letting it “expandâ€. I am a fan of hard/extra firm mattress but this is so thin that it feels like you are sleeping on the floor. It collapses wherever you place any weight in it. The seller has fortunately been responsive and provided a UPS shipping label to provide a full refund on return. At over four hundred canadian dollars, you would be way better off buying an Ikea mattress.
