I bought this to reshape some stone pavers to fit the retaining wall I am building. It is solid and easy to use. The width of the edge means fewer strikes to establish the edge around the stone and thus a quicker separation.The length is long enough that your fist doesn't come close to the striking head, avoiding accidental mis-strikes and smashed fingers.I split a dozen pavers in no time and then used this to smooth off the rough and improperly finished pavers.Its a handy tool and does what its designed for well.

Purchased this to cut flagstone on a patio with a curved edge. It worked well enough. I would have preferred a chisel with a carbide tip but those are far more expensive than this one. Plastic handle mold worked nicely as a shock absorber and hand protector, but to be honest I wasn't really wailing away on the thing so I never really tested the ability of the plastic by hitting it with my small sledge hammer.My verdict is this is a good option/value for smaller jobs. If I was cutting stone on a daily basis I would go for a more expensive model with a high quality carbide tip. But for jobs like tile removal I think this thing will do quite nicely.

So I know technically I should be making a review primarily for the main purpose of this tool, but by God this is the most useful thing I've ever had in my life. I use it for about a thousand different things. This thing is solid and feels like it'll last a lifetime.

used to split landscaping block, it protected my hand well. After about a dozen misses me hitting the guard, the guard started cracking, that's why the 4 star review. I thought the guard might break but it held up for the entire project. no need to buy again this held up just fine. I would buy this brand again

This chisel is made with some incredible steel. It rings like a bell. I pounded on it with a sledge hammer for two hours today to expose some expansion joints. No damage. It's still sharp.

This works great! We are cutting slate with it for my pond waterfall and I’m so happy it has that guard in it or my hand would of been smashed a few times

I bought this chisel and a rubber mallet to cut 25 pound retaining wall block. It does work, but it is very slow. I spent $60 on a saw and blade and it's saving a lot of time compared to the chisel, even though I only need to cut about ten blocks.

I recommend this for cutting cement tiles, I have used it and been able to successfully cut without issues. Strong, good grip and safe
