Absolutely love these. Reminds me of the smell inside Cracker Barrel’s gift section. The scent lasts 3-4 days before I change out the wax.

My family has visited Lancaster, Pennsylvania for the past 30+ years, and I spend SO much time looking for something that approaches the strong "Amish country spice" scent that is pervasive in so many stores and hotels. Apple/cinnamon/country spice candles are ok, but none of them hit that balance of strength and the right elements. Some are too apple-y, and some are too spicy, and none have been what I was looking for all these years- even if they're good in their own right. The most liked one for me before this was Nest's very expensive "Holiday" candle, although the profile was not nearly the same. It was strong and a good scent mix, but not exactly what I was looking for. It's also expensive.I received these little bars at the same time I had purchased two new wax warmers from Walmart ($6.42) and put one half in the kitchen and one half in the living room. The scent throw and profile were EXACTLY the scent I was looking for. It's strong and complex and clean and very country, and pervades the entire house in a great way. It's very hard to articulate the specific scent I'd looked for (which in turn made finding it hard), but this is certainly it. I just put a half of one on 15 minutes ago and it's just awesome- it lasted a whole night the first time, but I'm not sure how many rounds these cubes are good for.I have to like, buy these in bulk, because they're literally perfect.

As one of the other buyers stated, I too, had been on a long Quest for a certain smell that invokes happy memories. For me, the small antique shop, tiny tucked away country shop in a small town. Walking in on a warmer fall day to a sleepy store that smells of a bakery, library and country candle store all mixed in one. Perfection! I have been unable to find this for years. Here it is. The product is not only a fantastic sent, it's much larger than I thought, heavy in weight and thick. The packaging is adorable, the art on the package is most fitting. I will definitely keep buying this particular one and also try the other's. I was a little concerned of the price before hand, most definitely worth the money!

I have always loved this McCalls scent. I am very sad that these candle bars have a very weak scent and it doesn’t last!I would not recommend! Very poor quality, especially for the cost.
