So I took the string out and replaced it with just over 140 feet of braided metal fishing line. The four stopping positions means I can let out just the right amount of wire for the frequencies I’m using without the need for an antenna tuner.

I don't know of any other chalk line that leaves the nice thick line and lasts longer than the line. This is the line that we always use no matter what crew I have worked for. The string is strong, thick, and easily filled. Don't forget your pre-snap! There's not much to say when there is no competitor to snap walls and to of steps with.

Best chalk box ever!!! I’ve been in the building industry for over 25 years.. I’ve had and used these chalk boxes exclusively for over 15 years.. They last forever.. Don't wast your money on geared or gimmick style boxes..The string will last forever.. It’s very strong and will last for years with daily use..Chalk line once snapped is 1/8” to 3/16”.. If you’re looking for a great framing, concrete, deck building, and much more chalk line then this is you fella...

I bought two for my husband and his friend There are roofers who use them frequently but haven’t heard a complaint yet. He says they’re good quality, nothing broken, & I got my package pretty fast .

I use them for rolling up 45 pound copper fishing wire to make 10m-80m EFHW antennas. They easily hold 130'+ wire. A knot at all the lengths and you can deploy it in the dark.

I have one that last 5 yearAnd I couldn't find it in CanadaThanks amazon for putting this online.Best chack everIt won't brake on youBecause it doesn't have gears like other brandsAnd the cotton lineCan hold the powder great you can mark more then 3 line in one shot.The tip need to be upgradedBut you can live with that.

chalk line he’s ever had. Has a think cord which makes for very visible lines. The only down fall in the first one e bought was the reel handle broke. It was almost -35 here in Canada that day so that could be why. I did purchase 3 more though because my husband liked it so much. Great product. We highly recommend it.
