This is just the exact same high quality threshold that is available at the big hardware stores. It's hard to criticize this product since it is a commonly available product. I've bought several over the years from different sources. Needless to say. Shipping and all of that Amazon related stuff was perfect.

Initially, I had purchased a very similar item but of smaller size from the local home improvement store and the issue was that it wasn't wide enough for the threshold to the pedestrian door in my garage. This product is everything that it has been advertised as and I needed to merely trim off a few inches on each end for a nice snug fit. The installation was a breeze and it has performed flawlessly. Trimming this product down to the size I needed proved to be an adventure, but this is to be chalked up to my inexperience and general lack of skills in the home improvement area. I specifically use this to keep the weather out as nature seems to like going under my door. I think that a person in a wheelchair would have no issues rolling across the top. The angles are very gentle and the material is of an industrial nature, even for something as soft as aluminum.

It was strong enough for the threshold, but easy enough to trim and install.

Very simple threshold. My old one was rusty and letting water in every time it rained. I put this one in place, marked and drilled the holes (used tap con screws instead of the included screws). Ran silicone under and around it and now my floor stays dry in the rain.

If you're looking for a heavy duty threshold, this is for you. You could probably drive your car over it without and damage.,keep in mind that there is no weatherstripping built it. This is 100% aluminum. While we are not driving a car over it, we are running Hand trucks across it. Love it.

Our new metal garage came with a door threshold that was too narrow and so when rain hit the door it just funneled it to the inside of the building. This threshold was the appropriate size and has fixed the water infiltration problem. Too bad they didn't install one like this to begin with!

Good, sturdy threshold - I used this to cover up some holes in the wood threshold on the door to the deck. Looks good and works fine.

Great quality item. Was missing the screws which is no big problem. I'm using the threshold on a building that I'm retrofitting into a washroom.
