My entry door has just weird enough measurements that most foam strips and seals have a gap. The door also opens out instead of in so it's tricky to find a good seal. This seal's wedge shape and flexibility made it a lot easier to get an airtight seal! I tried 3 other different kinds of seals before this and nothing worked. Very pleased not to see daylight around my door!

Very effective for sealing air gaps! It came in a squashed box and the silicone rubber weatherstripping looks small, but it REALLY WORKS!

I don’t know who thinks this is good for large gaps around a door, but apparently they’ve never seen some people’s crappy doorframe construction job or other problems that can happen in older buildings.This stuff is thin and it’s obviously only made for very precisely measured and properly constructed doorframes with proper installation with reasonable tolerances in new condition.If you have a door with a warped frame or that was constructed improperly then this is NOT going to seal up anything that anyone I know would think of as a “large gapâ€. In fact this stuff is half the thickness of the seal that’s already on the problem door I have.So the fact is that this stuff is either average thickness or thinner than average, maybe, but there is certainly nothing especially thick about it.Absolutely do not buy this for any door or window with large gaps, crooked installation, or a warped frame because it’s obviously NOT designed to compensate for any sort of “large gap†problem at all. It’s way too thin for anything short of perfect construction in good condition. Only advantage it has is that it can compress to fit tight spots.I’d still give it four stars except that this supposedly good solid company can’t put proper instructions with the product. Rather than just use some illustrations to show what they’re talking about, they decided to use confusing door frame technical terms that most people don’t know to explain which surface the strip should be adhered to.There’s a reason for the saying “a picture is worth 1,000 words†and this company apparently didn’t learn that reason. Even the cheap Chinese products usually have better instructions simply because of including some simple drawings.So -1 for the worse than third-world developing country instructions.

Works great after using the cheap foam rolls that get unstuck and end up curling over. Place teardrop round end towards inside and the tip facing outside and it will seal perfectly. The sticky actually stays stuck too. So much better than the cheap foam duck crap. Would buy agian in a heartbeat. This is the one you need, stop looking and buy!
