The M-D Aluminum Sill Nosing is used as a threshold for commercial and residential doorways. This threshold can be used in doorways with a dramtic floor height transition like a step. No hardware is included. This product can be secured to the floor with screws or adhesive. Before installation, the sill nosing can be cut to a desired length by using a hacksaw.

Mine came in damaged as well, but I expected it to. I was able to hammer it straight, but be aware that it will come damaged.

This definitely does the job, but since it was a tight fit where we put it, we had issues due to the fact that the screws had to sit up a bit instead of having a recessed place for them.
