I have been looking for something that actually does a great job at shredding meats (pulled pork, pot roast, chicken, etc). We had those "bear claws" and they were just terrible. These are like oversized forks with an extra "hook" to the end of them. They are the perfect length and do a fantastic job. Well made - not flimsy or cheap. So glad that we bought these. Wish we had made the purchase earlier!

These are such an improvement over using 2 forks to pull smoked pork and chicken. Very sturdy. Longer handles make for a good grip without getting your hands down in the meat. Some pros may prefer another design, but these work great for me as a home cook.

Very strong not like the cheap one's the store's are selling now.And they also look very classy or nice, not the cheap plastic stuff that breaks, the first time you use them.

Got these to shred about 50 pounds of pulled pork for a graduation party. I've used the "bear claw" style ones before, and don't love how your knuckles are right in the meat. These were the perfect alternative. They're sturdy, solid and tore through everything beautifully. Now I just have to find more excuses to use them.

These are amazing at shredding chicken. Way faster than trying to use 2 forks. Makes the process very easy. Would def recommend.

These things work wonders. I’ve always hated shredding chicken because it feels like it takes forever with regular sized forks and I always end up burning my hands from how hot the crockpot or instant pot is. I went from about 20 minutes to shred 5 pieces of chicken to about 3 minutes. Total lifesaver! They feel heavy duty and do a great job.

Brought these several months ago and didn't try them until yesterday. Tried to shred boiled chicken thighs for chicken noodle soup and they were way too large and awkward. I suppose if you want them for very large chunks of meat they may work okay, but that's not what I wanted them for. Tossed them right in the garbage! Forks work much better.

I've only used them once so far with a large pork shoulder roast done in my Traeger but they worked awesome. Much better than the old two fork method!
