Meat Injector Usage Instructions
Preparation
1.Prepare the Marinade: Mix your marinade or brine according to the recipe. Ensure it is well-blended and free of large particles that could clog the injector.
2.Clean the Meat Injector: Before using the injector, wash it with warm, soapy water,and rinse thoroughly. This ensures no contaminants are injected into the turkey.
3.Fill the Meat Injector: Place the proper needle from three needles according to your marinade into the marinade injector. Pull back the plunger to fill the injector with the liquid. Be sure to do this slowly to avoid creating air bubbles.
Injection
1.Locate Injection Sites: Plan your seasoning injection points. Common areas include the breast, thighs, and drumsticks. Aim to inject at multiple points for even flavor distribution.
2.Inject the Marinade: Insert the needle deep into the meat. Slowly press the plunger to release the marinade. Withdraw the needle slightly, then push it in a different direction within the same hole, and inject again. Repeat this process around the turkey.
3.Distribute Evenly: Try to inject equal amounts of marinade into each location. If the
marinade starts to overflow from an injection site, move to a new spot.
Cleaning
1.Disassemble the Injector: After use, disassemble the injector. Remove the needle and any other removable parts.
2.Wash Thoroughly: Clean all parts with warm, soapy water. Use a brush to clean inside the needle if necessary. Rinse well to remove all soap residue.
3.Dry and Store: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling and storing the injector. This prevents mold and bacteria growth.

Although it looked great and was very heavy duty, which by its self would be more then worth the money. Problem was it didn't work at all. Plunger was completely stuck. Bc of this there is no way to fill or even clean it. Very disappointed bc I really liked it. But instant return instead

This meat injector comes with different style needles to assist with what and how you want to marinate your meat for cooking - but with that said, I didn't find the handle very comfortble to use and prefer some kind of visual means to know how much fluid is in the injector - especially when I'm working with a marrinade that has herbs or other items that can glog the needle when drawing liquid into the injector. The end of this does unscrew so that you can pour you marinade into it - but at 2oz max at a time, it's inconvenient to keep doing that versus just drawing more up through the injection needle. It worked for my meal prep and the included cleaning brushes were great for clean up - but a few design additions would have made this a better overall option for use.
