This slicer is perfect for home use. I've used it for meats and breads and have had no problems at all. I used the serrated blade for slicing bread and the slices came out perfectly. You just can't rush it.But, as noted by another reviewer, I do wish it were about 2-3" longer BEFORE the blade. While it is long enough in that area to slice most items, it would be nice to be able to slice slab bacon and some cold cuts and cheeses without having to "downsize" them. The suction feet hold very tightly to my quartz countertops and so the machine is very stable when I'm using it. I don't have to chase it while slicing. Overall, I'm very glad I purchased it and would do so again.

Unit has a robust construction even in the plastic part areas. It has a solid feel when using it and my only criticism would be when slicing a juicy cut of meat the juices get under the thickness adjustment knob. I cleaned underneath with a sink sprayer. But it has a very good value of operation verses price on more expensive cutters.

Works as advertised, get what you pay for. Lightweight and under powered makes it almost dangerous. Use the gloves supplied for protection.

I’m very very pleased with this slicer. First it has a 9†blade instead of 7†which makes a big difference. Super easy to clean but what I really like is the way you add and remove the blade. The slicer I had before had a plastic round thing with a little flimsy flange that lifts up to turn to remove the blade. I was concerned I’d break it. This slicer has a metal piece you turn with a coin. Well made and sturdy!

Well pleased with my purchase. Great value for the price. Suction cups secure nicely to counter top, no slipping. Slices nicely, but turkey breast slices seemed to be thinner at the bottom due to me not applying even pressure to the meat when slicing. It's like most things, is a bit awkward for a left hander, but I'll get used to it.

This is regarding the Meat Slicer, Techwood 1500W Electric Slicer for Home Use with 2 Removable 7.5" Stainless Steel Blade, Deli Cheese Fruit Vegetable Bread Cutter with Adjustable Thickness, Easy to Clean, Silver from the Techwood Store.My only complaint is that the motor could be a bit stronger. Perhaps that's not easy with a 1.5kW device, but maybe if it had a faster motor with a different gear ratio you could do more. I have a 7.5" chop saw that doesn't even slow down when cutting wood, so I'm sure this can be done. I feel I'm going to out live this appliance, so the next one I get I'll definately be looking for this feature. I'll probably also pick one that has a more elegant system for collecting the food.This is really simple to use, the only thing that can't be stressed enough, don't get you hand meat near the moving blade or it will do the same thing it does to the other meats!The gears may be over packed with grease, I let mine run for a long while when I first set it up and that really helped.The suction cups really keep it stable. This helped me cut up a large amount of lunch meat quickly, you get a heck of a lot from a little half ham!This was really easy to clean up.. It took maybe five minutes.This is a really good purchase at this price point.

For the price, it slices pretty well. It can slice a variety of foods and it's easy to stay safe with the slicing "chamber".The motor is not that powerful, so it does sound like it is struggling at times. That can be solved by investing in a slightly more expensive product with higher wattage.

Neat home use slicer that's great for the holidays. Slice nice things pieces of ham or turkey. Baking homemade bread? No more having someone squish the bread trying to cut it! Just slice the loaf into slices with this machine.Includes serrated and smooth blade. Serrated is better for harder things like frozen meats. Can definitely save money by buying bulk chunks of meat and slicing yourself. (Make sure it's boneless meat).It is for home use and has a mildly powerful motor. Mainly metal construction except for the sliding tray. Easily adjustable thickness at the turn of a knob. Don't expect it to mimic the beautiful commercial slicer that you see in the grocery deli. Take your time and slice wisely! Have fun making fresh homemade subs also.

It is very compact so fits easily into smaller spaces for storage.The blades are more difficult to remove, the screw is reverse threaded and you need cut proof gloves to be on the safe side. However, since this is a safety feature, I don't mind the extra work involved.The unit is very stable and doesn't move around.This slicer is great value for money and I recommend it.
