When you find the perfect place to put the base of the retractable object make absolute sure it’s where you want it and not worried about it becoming a part of the object!!! This base will stick to the air if possible!! I use alien tape on a lot of things but whatever this sticky stuff is will not let go of whatever you stick it to!!! I was afraid it would just pull off with one tug of the remote control but that’s not happening!! Make no hesitation in pulling the object as hard as necessary because it will com out and go back but.the base will never budge!! A plus plus!!!

Adhesive does not stick well. I used it to attach my adjustable bed headboard to avoid losing the remote, and woke up at midnight with a crashing sound as it fell off the headboard and hit the floor. Do not use this if you are concerned that it might fall off of where it’s attached to. It probably will attach to smooth and flat plastic or glass, but nothing else.

I'm happy with my purchase and these have certainly cut down on the "Have you seen the remote" banter.We have 2 remotes for our living room TV and sound system, those we attached to a tray that can be moved around depending on where you're sitting.The one in our bedroom, I attached to the bedpost on my side of the bed and wish instead I'd attached it to something that can be moved depending on where I am in bed, or if I fall asleep and my partner wants to turn Gilmore Girls off.

We used these on the backs of our remotes that the kids touch! They are no longer able to roam with them.Only issue we’ve had this far was a result of a sick kid and a humid room. The 3M sticky didn’t hold onto wood in humid conditions.

They are a great concept but the adhesive they have on them doesn't work i attached them to a remote and then stuck it to the back less then 5 minutes later the remote fell off
