Sitting in Your Own Way

We're happy to announce that we are releasing a new version with a height adjustable backrest. The Pro version features a 2-inch (5 cm) height-adjustable backrest to provide you with improved back & lumbar support. You can customize the backrest height to your preferred level simply by twisting the knob without getting off the chair. We're excited to be able to accommodate your needs and comfort better.

  • Height-Adjustable Backrest
  • 17.5“ Wide Seat Cushion
  • 3” High Resilience Foam + 1.2” Memory Foam
  • 250lbs Weight Capacity

Pipersong Meditation Chair

Benefits of Cross-legged Sitting

As a basic posture of yoga and meditation, sitting cross-legged opens up the hips; stretches the ankles and knees; keeps the spine straight; helps develop good posture; lessens menstrual discomfort and sciatica; helps keeps joints and ligaments flexible; and stimulates the spine, pelvis, abdomen, and bladder.

Pipersong Meditation Chair

Benefits of Squatting

When we squat, our lumbar spine extends, stretching our lower back muscles. It's also a perfect posture to fix the damage you've done to your hips and lumbar spine from sitting in conventional chairs your whole life.

Pipersong Meditation Chair

Benefits of Switching Positions

Pipersong Meditation Chair is comfortable for a full day’s work. The key is to keep switching positions. Your body will tell you when it needs to move to a new position, and you'll be in good shape as long as you listen to it.

Footstool

Footstool

Padded with 1.8-inch thick high-density foam, the crescent-shaped footstool can comfortably rest your lower limbs while sitting in different positions. It can swivel 360 degrees separately. NOTE: DO NOT SIT/STAND ON THE FOOTSTOOL.

Backrest

Backrest

The Pro version features a 2-inch (5 cm) height-adjustable backrest to provide you with improved back & lumbar support. You can customize the backrest height to your preferred level simply by twisting the knob without getting off the chair.

Seat Cushion

Seat Cushion

The Plus Version seat cushion is 17.5" in width and is consisted of 3" high-resilience, high-density foam and 1.2" memory foam, which will provide you with a better experience for long hours sitting. The seat height could be adjusted from 19.7 inches to 23.7 inches (50-60cm).

beyou chair

The weight capacity of the Plus version chair has increased to 250 lbs. The recommended weight capacity for the regular version chair is still 200 lbs.

soul seat

The seat height can be adjusted between 19.7 inches and 23.7 inches (50cm-60cm), so it can work with desks from 29 inches to 35 inches (75cm-90cm) high.

stool chair

The footstool is designed to move freely to support kinds of sitting positions. To avoid unnecessary movements while putting legs on, we’ve added an anti-slip component inside the connection part to add friction. So the footstool will not move unless you make it.

ergonomic desk chair

The castors we used are safe for any floor type, but if you find they aren’t working for your specific needs, you can always change them. They are universal castors with an 11mm x 22mm stem.

Short and sweet review: if you're a non-traditional sitter like me, this chair is worth every dang penny. It may not be as cute or plush as other cross-legged chairs on the market, but this is the superior model for ergonomic sitting and is everything I hoped it would be. I have tried every other kind of non-traditional chair on the market (kneeling, ergonomic, backless, yoga ball, etc.) in an attempt to find something that achieves the same things this chair does for a fraction of the price, and can tell you that there's really no equivalent out there - honestly, I probably spent more money trying to find cheaper alternatives for this chair than I did had I just purchased it outright when I first saw it.Pros:- Easy to assemble- Versatile positions allow for ergonomic sitting/relief- Comfortable- Quiet wheelsCons:- Expensive- Not as soft/plush as other office chairs- Necessitates extra wheels (if replacing wheels)- Doesn't lean completely back- Slightly bulky for certain desk setupsLong review:Full disclosure, I've only been sitting on this chair for about four hours now, but I can already tell you that this is a) the most comfortable non-traditional office chair I've ever used and b) worth every penny.I can feel the difference in my posture - my back is straight, my hips are properly aligned, my shoulders are relaxed, I'm not hunched over or folded in half, and my feet aren't asleep (a big problem for lots of cross-legged sitters). I've already tried three or four different positions and all of them are more comfortable and achievable than the same positions with a regular chair and stool. I can see how some people say it's not as comfy and cushioned as a traditional office chair, but that's a personal preference that can be remediated with pillows or positional adjustment - I think it's totally fine. The chair doesn't lean back, but I've found that because my legs are positioned more centrally under my hips, I don't need to -lean- back so much as just scoot my back up against the backrest for support.Assembly was very straightforward and only took me about 20 minutes. The casters included with the chair are of good quality and slide smoothly, but one note: if you want to swap the wheels it comes with for something else (I prefer roller blade wheels), make sure you buy the replacement wheels in multiples of 7 (5 for the chair and 2 for the leg platform/rest), otherwise the wheels on the leg rest portion won't touch the floor. One other thing to note is that the leg rest is NOT height-adjustable, so it may be a bit bulky/tall for certain setups depending on desk height and style; I have a stabilizing leg in the middle of the underside of my desk that the foot rest bumps up against occasionally - it's not a problem to me, but I could see it being annoying to others.I'll come back and edit this review if my love for this chair changes, but I doubt it will - I absolutely adore this chair and my only regret is not purchasing it sooner.

I meditate, also fidget and incessantly crawl around chairs, which is why I meditate. LOL. Either way, this chair is HEAVEN SENT for either person. Cross-legged is my primary sitting position, most comfortably from a zafu (those little round meditation cushions) on the floor, in front of a low coffee table and the computer. I get sore at the office because they have these enormous slumpy or dense foam chairs. Sometimes I try putting my zafu on the chair and sit normally, but the chair designed support at all the wrong angles and it rarely works. FINALLY. A CHAIR. Answer to my prawyers. I was shocked to see so many unsatisfied reviews on here.First, from a balanced position, either cross legged or on knees on a cushion, all one's weight is stacked straight up and down on the spine, weight slightly forward, your abdomen holding your body in position; NOT like a western chair where its designed slightly leaned back, pushing your weight into your lower back. That lower back thing causes a lot of pain problems for people. I know. I use to have it bad, especially after a car wreck that damaged my spine (it works again now, no worries). But chairs always hurt after that. I needed stronger core muscles. If you have lower back problems, before you spend all this money on chiropractors, try strengthening your core and meditating. I had too because my back literally didn't function for the two years it took my spine to heal.Anyhoo - with weight stacked straight up and down, you actually don't need super strong core strength to hold your body up, just enough strength to tweak your balance occasionally and adjust. Same mechanism as indigenous people carrying groceries on their head: They're not super strong, they just have enough core balance and control to hold it steady, with all the weight being stacked on the spine by gravity. No powerful muscles required.Western chairs don't let you do this. Obviously my irritation has made me think about it a lot, lol. Western chairs push all the weight into your lower back and force you release your abdomen. Its more comfortable in theory, because you don't have to use your abs to balance, but it also makes your abs dead weak when you've done it for years. It also mildly changes your nervous system, if you want to know. Changes how you hold balance in general, makes you unable to balance correctly walking or doing other tasks.I say this bc a lot of reviews on here do not seem to understand all this. There's a lot of complains of LACK OF BACK SUPPORT and NO LUMBAR and WHAT A WASTE and these complaints completely misunderstand what this chair is for.THIS CHAIR IS DESIGNED TO ALLOW YOU TO SIT CROSS LEGGED OR ON KNEES, STACKING YOUR WEIGHT ON YOUR SPINE WITHOUT ANYTHING TOUCHING YOUR BACK. I mean the chair-back is cozy looking but its function isn't for support. I took the chair-back to be necessary either for the overall balance of the chair; or, as a guide so that when you touch it with your back, you know you're leaning too far back or slumping. Its not for support. This whole operation depends on your ability to balance with your abs. As a reward, your back problems go away or get diminished, and I get my spine back. The rise-able main cushion, firm like a zafu but somehow softer, plush without sinking down, is perfect. You need a firm surface because this is where all your weight is supported. But you also need a soft surface because booties are delicate and we like soft things. Perfect. The fact that the cushion rises and you can control the distance between your legs and pelvis: PERFECT. Allows you to try all sorts of new positions without putting your legs too sleep, no matter how big your legs are or how short (me). I like the feet planted forward on the lower pedestal and leaning forward. I learned that in China; you've seen it: when they run into friends in the street or talk over dice, squatted all the way down and resting their weight in the same way, but more balanced forward on planted feet into a self-made body chair. So comfortable. Now I get to do it at my desk! I love home office now!Anyway, this chair is perfect. I love it. Please don't believe bad reviews from people who misunderstood it. They're just in pain.

I have low back problems and bought this chair hoping to alleviate some of the pain caused by sitting at my desk. It shipped fast, came as ordered, and was well packaged and undamaged. It took me 30 minutes to unpack and fully assemble. Very easy. The chair is comfortable and not so big that its unwieldy in my office space. I love the foot platform and the versatility is just what I needed. My only gripe is the backrest does not stay in place. It constantly slides down no matter how tight you get the tensioner. I may drill a hole in the post to help with that because it is very annoying. I wish the company offered a tall back model that would support me all the way up to my head, similar to a gaming chair. I know this would negate the ability to sit backwards, but I would pay to enjoy the optional support when I have to recline with my legs out.

love this chair. very sturdy and secure.very ease to assemble and comfy to sit on. I use different ways of sitting more often than I thought. I have chronic knee and back pain and this chair helps so much and I suffer significantly less than I normally do in a normal office chair.

A back injury in 2016 meant I could no longer sit for long periods without experiencing intense pain. I've had a standing desk since the injury, but standing all the time can also cause problems. I am constantly shifting my position and I'm hoping this chair allows more freedom of movement at my desk without the need to stand.Sitting on it now I can tell it's not the sort of chair you get if you want to relax. This chair forces you to be creative in your sitting positions, the backrest prevents you from slouching, as an alternative, you can spin it around to the front and it provides a place to rest your arms or lean into.I have a desk that is height adjustable so I can easily squat underneath it on this chair, however; most desks are stuck at one height and are probably too short to allow this, so I highly recommend to everyone to get a height adjustable desk and have more freedom of movement. The eyes should be level with the top of the monitor, so you're never looking up at the screen. keep this in mind when making adjustments to your seating position and habits. Another useful item to get is a monitor mount, especially one that allows for versatile adjustments. The chair itself is well-designed and made of sturdy materials, the cushioning is generous and the material is smooth and soft to the touch. I would like to make a seat cover for it, I'm currently using a towel on the leg part. The seat is on the small side but the backrest curves around and feels snuggly. I recommend a hard surface for the wheels, mine is on hardwood floors and it's easy to rotate the leg-rest when needed, I can't say how it'd go on carpet.I'm really enjoying this chair but I think it really depends on the individual and what their circumstances are, squatting, kneeling, and sitting cross-legged are not for everyone. If you enjoy Yoga like me and tend to fidget then go for it! it's a great chair and the price is right!

I sit a lot for my job and have tried numerous ergonomic items - to help alleviate how sore and tight my hips get. In the past, what alleviated this tightness was yoga moves, sitting cross-legged, bending my body, moving my body. All things I struggled to do in my super expensive, "normal" office chair. I would stand up, feeling like a pretzel and need to go stretch to feel better but I am always battling my tight hips. This chair is better than awesome because I can move and stretch with freedom while at my desk. I don't even really think about it - I just shift, cross my legs, bend my knees, lean forward, lean back - whatever my body wants. I feel like I can concentrate on my work - and not be fighting constant pain and discomfort that came from sitting in the exact same position for hours.Chair is well made. I'm an average build - with average length legs - so this chair fits me perfectly. Coasters of chair are smooth on the floor - the stool part - moves easily and overall I find this chair super comfortable. The seat of the chair is like a stool almost, but I often have my weight partially shifted to my legs / knees - so it fits different than other chairs. The smaller seat doesn't bother me at all.I don't lean back a lot while using this chair - usually my weight it shifted forward to my legs, but when I do lean back - the back support is enough. And is comfortable.I'm really happy with this purchase - it way more comfortable than I thought it would be. Highly recommend to any long-term desk sitters who fight tight hips.
