I spent a lot of time reading reviews and watching youtube videos leading up to my first cajon purchase. I could not have been happier. The price point and build quality of this cajon are stellar in my opinion, but what will really impress you is the sound quality.Right out of the box, I was confused by the sound quality. It wasn't what I expected, but now that I've been playing it for a few months, I can tell you that it's because I just didn't know what I was doing. But now... I get solid bass, resonant tom-like midrange, and two distinctly different snare sounds - one is lower and meaty and the other is higher and snappy (my favorite for playing along with funky tunes).Unlike some instruments, the learning process is extremely fun. I'm at a point where I'm working on fine tuning my playing and developing technique, but I have zero doubts about this cajon fitting the needs of any jam session I can throw at it.

I absolutely love this cajon. The craftsmanship is terrific and it looks beautiful. The various sounds and tones it’s capable of are great. It’s very enjoyable to play.

Somehow even with virus related shipping delays, this piece of art arrived several days early and I couldn't be happier. Sounds great, looks amazing, and I thank the seller and Meinl very much. I've owned several cajons from different companies and the ones I purchase from Meinl always are superior in construction and sound quality . When I buy cajons and accessories Meinl is definitely my first choice . When you buy a cajon no matter entry level or professional Meinl will offer the best in any price range.

Number 1, it’s got great tone. It’s also made of great tone woods, is quality built, and fairly attractive. We’re having a ton of fun playing along to songs and creating beats and fills. Recommended!

Les finitions et le design sont très beaux mais je ne l'ai pas gardé car niveau son ce n'était pas du tout ce que je recherchais. Beaucoup de reverb et trop d'aigu, j'ai opté pour le meinl artisan cantina line beaucoup plus puissant dans les basses.
