The item arrived a day early and worked exactly as it should. Solid design and easy to use. Ford doesn't make it easy to work on many of their vehicles and specialized tools are needed. This fit perfectly on the transmission line cooler line of my 2002 Ford Explorer. A little pressure and a little wiggle and the line released in seconds.

I tried everything and getting the transmission lines off the cooler and couldn't, but This tool was a success If you buy it from the parts store is like $37

I haven’t used them yet I had to get the lines off the day I ordered them.They look like they would do the trick by the pivot seams a little flimsy.I don’t see why they couldn’t be used in 2 pieces if the pivot breaks so I’m not that concerned.

The halves are not the same and uneven when closed which makes it hard to install in line for retainer
