I would give away so much bud because I didn’t want to trim anymore. People are not going to like me this year. I’m keeping everything trimming is the thing of the past. All you have to do is dump the bud inside this thing don’t put too much in be patient, it works amazing I wish I would’ve Known about this thing years ago

Sure dose make things easer but there's a lot of waste I think it needs 4 blades instead of 2 and a fan ducking down over the buds to get the big leafs on the blade first and also a nome stick surface that triclome don't stick to

The manual portion of this bud trimmer is outstanding. The side door is nice touch when taking your bud out of the trimmer. The electric portion of the trimmer never worked. It was almost impossible to contact someone from Melonfarm through their website. If you just use the manual handle, this is a great trimmer. I would look elsewhere if you want an electric bud trimmer.

This trimmer works surprisingly well. I had another brand of the same style trimmer a few years ago and found that it just broke the flowers apart. That one costs twice as much and has no speed adjustment. This trimmer allows me to slow down the speed which keeps the buds in better shape. It also has softer rubber fingers that don’t beat the buds up too much. Using any trimmer will always be a trade-off of quality compared to hand-trimmed but I think this keeps that to a minimum. It works very quickly. I would not turn it on and walk away at all as it only takes a minute or two to trim several ounces at a time.A major con of this trimmer is that none of its edges have been polished so there are sharp metal edges to be found in several spots. I cut my finger before I even had it out of the box. I plan to sand them in the future to keep from getting cut again. I would probably rate this a 4 out of 5 but with the unfinished metal I think a 3 out of 5 is fair.

Does a nice job trimming. I have only used it on dried flower and works great. I do recommend trimming any fan leaves before putting in this trimmer. The overall function works much better. It really doesn't remove or damage that many of the trichomes. Make home grown look like store bought. It's a bit loose when assembled but is solid while in use. I have not used the motor and might not just because of my harvest size. My last harvest was 14 ounces and trimmed it all up in about two hours. Normally that would have took all day and maybe the next day as well. I like the catch net because what trichomes that do fall off get filtered from the trimmings. You will need your own catch bowl. This is an open bottom design. The net is all you have. Clean up isn't bad since the whole machine comes apart. I will be using this every harvest from now on. It's just to easy.

Not sure about anyone else but I had some stuff in my trimmer and the speed dial was all the way down and today I hear this noise go upstairs and the trimmer is going full boar all the way just grinding up material with the speed dial all the way turned down and no has no speed adjustments
