When I purchased these light grey shorts, I had originally thought that they were just great looking. I thought that I would be wearing these on weekends, going to the grocery store, etc. I didn’t realize that I was going to like them as much as I do. And, even though I know how well rated they are for hiking, and fishing, I didn’t think that I would use my shorts for that.I was able to order a size smaller shorts since my hiking has paid off as I hoped. These shorts were something of a reward for me. Little did I realize that I would be doing my hiking in these shorts. I thought that they were too nice to hike in, but I have come to find out that they are very durable. I was surprised how much elasticity the shorts had in them. My wife was worried that I was going to rip the seams apart, but that didn’t happen. I’m also really thankful that the shorts are UPF 50+, water repellent, and have 6 pockets that are going to store pretty much everything, and anything, that I need to do almost any outdoor activity.The reason that I will also be hiking, and fishing, in my new shorts is that they are really quite comfortable. More so than I expected. I might be the best dressed man fishing, but that is the way that it will be. I didn’t realize that these shorts were so versatile and good for so many things. I do love the light grey color though. That is exactly why I ordered them.There are a couple things that I’m not completely thrilled with, and it’s my fault for not reading through all of the manufacturer’s information. They are, and easily become, pretty wrinkled. They still look good, even with the wrinkles. Also, I will need to hand wash my shorts, and that is the most dreadful chore that I can think of. It doesn’t say anything about drying so I’m going to assume that I need to line dry them. These are great shorts, even if I don’t like to hand wash clothes. I’m looking forward to more hiking with them, and perhaps purchasing some new pairs.

I wear these more than any other pair of short I have. They are just stretchy enough that they are comfortable and I can even wear them without a belt if I want but I usually do wear a belt. The belt they came with is not very useful in my opinion but if you don't have a belt I suppose it could be useful. I love the placement of the cargo pockets but the normal left and right pockets are little shallow in my opinion. I still love them but sometimes large things will fall out of my pocket. The mini key pocket with the carabiner ring is perfect. I don't carry too many keys so it works great but if you have a large key chain it might not work for you. I wear these around town, hiking, running and almost anything else I can think of. I even wore them swimming when I didn't have another option and they dried out very quickly.

"Men's Hiking Cargo Shorts Stretch Quick Dry Outdoor" since reviews are bundled with all products.These are very lightweight, very stretchy, and comfortable. They do run somewhat small, so depending on how you want your shorts to fit, take that into account.The front pockets are not deep enough for my needs, but, it's good that they are zippered. There is only one back pocket, which is lacking, especially when you hike and like to carry stuff in your pockets vs pack.Time will tell how well they stand up to actual hiking and not just strolling around, but 1st impressions are very good. Really been liking this Gradual brand in other styles, thought I’d try this design. Another 5-star rating. Great design, super lightweight - almost feel like you’re not wearing them, nice pocket placement with smooth working zippers, nice array of colors. Stitching is very precise but only single row, so only time will tell if they hold up rugged outdoor use like hiking and sitting on rocks, etc.. The fit is perfect as with all Gradual products, I’m slender and a true 34.5†waist and these size 34 fit perfectly. Not sure if this brand would fit someone with large stocky thighs, maybe. Elastic is only on the sides and does allow for next size up such as a 35†waist could wear this 34†size. New they’re a smooth poly look, not like organic natural faded cotton which some prefer, but I think this synthetic material can fade in, show some distress and have a more worn-in look just by washing and wearing. One thing for sure, if you live in a warm to hot humid climate, you’ll love how cool and comfortable these are. The black belt is included.

Its ok and fits fine. The material is really light, I wish it were a little bit more substantive. Also it seems like they failed with the pockets. It's too shallow to carry a phone and things fall out too easily.

As spring and warm weather approached, I decided to try these “cargo/tactical†shorts as an alternative to my regular chino type shorts. I wanted something potentially more comfortable and serviceable for daily walking and fitness wear. Three months later, I now own FIVE pairs of these. Five different colors. And I wear them almost every day. Great shorts in every respect! I love all of the zippered pockets and also the small pocket where I can carry my iPhone without it banging around or stuck down inside a regular type pocket. These are the perfect shorts for active wear. And for traveling! Light-weight, very packable, great fitting (according to my wife). And a trip to the washer and dryer (or quick hang-drying) leaves them crisp and ready to go another round. Amazing shorts for the money. My new favorites!

Very cheap material used, extremely light weight, no quality, Chinese company rip off. I would not pay $1.00 for this super cheap pair of shorts.Not at all like what you think you see in the picture.

Me gusto la calidad de la tela y compartimientos que tien,NO me gusto el color que recibi.En la pantalla decia gris claro y recibi efectivamente gris normal NO GRIS CLARO.A pesar de lo anterior me siento bien con la compra pero no engañen al consumidor con poner un color y no respetarlo
