Had a pump hooked up to an ac unit. It just pumps out the water that's collected by condensation. During the summer that's a decent amount of water. The line runs about 20 feet. I noticed half the water would flow back down the line and refill the pump reservoir. This one way valve was the perfect solution. Half the water obviously still flows back but the valve keeps it in the line rather then it making it back to the pump. Works great.

Works well. Inexpensive. Easily fit 3/8 rubber gasoline line with clamps.
