I hv started a garden in my kids old playhouse 🎉. I mostly hv all cold weather plants going at the moment because it's winter 🤪. These mats are keeping the plants soil warm enough that my tomatoes are doing really well tooðŸ™. they are low watts so i have 5 plugged in to one power strip no problems 😇 Happy with this purchase 🤙

I didn't like that they came in no Amazon box but the original box and just thrown on my front porch where I couldn't find them.Now for the item itself....I read the reviews before buying. Was Leary but I tried them anyway. At first they heat up really hot, then cool off to approved 70°. Our body temperature is higher and it feels cold to us, so maybe that's why some are saying they don't work? As you can see in the photos, they work just fine in my small greenhouses for my peppers and tomatoes. I have about 95% germination on my peppers. Tomatoes were planted 2-3 weeks after the peppers. I would buy them again because they work fine for me. They are plugged in and on for 16 hours a day.

I garden in Alaska and we have to get started early here. It's January and I just got these plugged in to start my flower seeds. They keep my little indoor greenhouse warm for my flower babies for months until they are ready to go out in May. Great purchase.

I am using them for a second season now and they are still going strong. They provide enough heat to encourage germination and cool off fast once unplugged.Note that these do not come with a temperature control, even though they have a number of temperature variables printed on the mat (as if one can adjust the temp- which you can't)
